I agree it was not that bad but I still do not think the questions were that negative either . There was a huge disappointment with the Wycombe Result and the interviewer gave every chance for Pardew to be Positive and get that result out of the way but as you said somewhere else we dont really know what the expectations of the club are for this season which clouds everything. A draw at Wycombe is not bad but is not good if we are going for the play offs

Not sure there is much negativity a lot of support for Pardew on here. Wish I knew what the Objective of the Club was for this season especially after the poor start to the season I am more than happy that we have consolidated and got to Wembley - next season looks good

Yes I agree NC should have kept quiet If Pardew is sacked after winning more games than losing and getting SFC to Wembley then I would be very surprised.

But that was near the end of the interview and I thought the Interviewer was going out of the way to be nice to Pardew after negative press comments

No I dont because I have no idea who runs the Echo and I have been reading the paper for nearly fifty years - it is not the Daily Mail Unlike egotistical tossers who have and will run football clubs. I dont know what the Echo's take on the Pardew story is but listening to his comments he was not a happy man when interviewed and any explanation would be gratefully received. I dont really understand why Wilkins could not have stood in if Pardew had to get somewhere quickly but it was a 5 1 thrashing so why was he so down beat

I agree but the first few games were dire which effectively ruined any realistic chance of getting to the Play Offs but the season has been very good since September.

The stats show we are doing pretty well but they dont show that the other top teams are doing well also.

I think the whole of the current squad could hold its own in the CCC finishing above the relegation zone. However to be in a squad to finish in the top six Davis and Fonte Schneiderlin Lallana should but did not do well last season Harding Seabourne Lambert Probably Hammond Barnard Possibly

As I have no idea of NC's past how do you know he is talented. Being a banker does not automatically mean that in the current economic situation it appears that bankers are greedy and have nearly brought some countries to their knees. I am not saying NC is a greedy banker just that I know little about him and would like to know more
