    I agree with you too
  2. I was reading your post on another thread at about 6.25 Is something going to be announced about transfers
  3. Possible but as much chance as Pat from Poole eating his garage in the next year or so
  4. Lets face it most managers with the money provided could have done that but AP is still a reasonable manager
  5. Yes lots of thing are arithmetically possible but often not very statically possible. You could live to be 125 but that is not very realistic or statistically probable Any news of further transfers?
  6. No it does not see Wes Tender's very good post although Mathematics should possibly be changed to Arithmetic Arithmetic and Statistics are very different sciences
  7. Stuart Gray has been appointed First Team Coach at Burnley http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11708_5870739,00.html Never understood why he was appointed Manager here because after Hoddle left I did not see anything to warrant his appointment
  8. Do away goals count double in the event of a draw overall
  9. Simply the best Saints player I have seen in the last fifty years without him I doubt if the club would have the success it had in reaching Div 1 and the Premier League
  10. Surely that means it is mathematically possible to get to the the playoff as oppossed to there is a realistic possibility of getting to the playoffs.
  11. We are 15th in the league and not playing well If we had beaten both Millwall and Colchester then you may have a point but we did not so I cannot see us getting to the playoffs. But dont let me stop you thinking the opposite - to get to the play off we need to be playiong like Norwich and I think Swindon
  12. Very True
  13. I dont think we are going to get hammered - I have bought my ticket today for the game at St Mary's and fully expect to go to Wembley. However if we do get hammered it will be difficult to win on the 9th and our season will in effect be over the game on Wednesday is very important that is FF's point.
  14. Just saw this http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=nonwire_soccer/10/01/18/manual_170616.html
  15. Well if you did know you would be something very special;)
  16. Do you not read posts Wes. What he said was if not they will hammer us. If they do hammer us surely our season is over possibly as club Historian he has seen it happen before. I do agree that it is a very important game as is the return on Feb 9
  17. The trouble is that we just played them and only got one point
  18. I am quite Happy with SFC this season but I am not happy with people constantly going on about reaching the playoffs . Which is virtually impossible with the -10 and the similar form of the top six teams
  19. Possibly Liverpool and Manchester United may have got further if they had played Luton;)
  20. Thank you very interesting
  21. I dont know the answer to your question but Probably Hoddle but I do know the lowest paid manager;)
  22. Again I fully agree with your first sentence but not the second Surely it depends on what actually happens we may play well have no luck have numerous injuries and just fail by goal difference I think we will just have to wait and see before saying a season's performance is unacceptable
  23. To become champions as I thought you suggested is not realistic at the moment Next season we will be promoted as champions of League 1 although it maybe come August.
  24. But you need to factor in the quality of player he has available compared with other managers so he is just OK at the moment That is why I think Bruce Moyes and McLeish are better managers than say Redknapp.
  25. I do not think things are going well at the moment they were going better a few weeks ago. At the moment things are OK but the team is not playing particularly well and we need to be playing better if we are to be promoted either this season or next which is a concern to some posters.
