I have heard this before havent I Lets hope this time it is for real but yes we need new players but I am not sure what the plan is

Zidane and Ronaldinho are slightly different people I would have thought playing in World Cup Finals and winning and for some of the biggest teams in the world compared with MLT who played for a lowly rated Premiership Club. If MLT had had a career like those mentioned I would not be commenting

I think he was a great player dont get me wrong but I just feel the hype surrounding him is slightly unreal.

MLT is a person like you and me not a Super Human with no flaws. I just think some people here on the Forum have the with best intentions the idea that MLT can do no wrong.

Thats right take Ricky Lambert he has moved for money and to a bigger club we think it is great a Bristol Rovers supporter probably thinks the opposite. I hope other players have Lambert's attitude rather than MLT's other wise we wont get in any new players

I think MLT has been given hero status because he did not have the ambition to move on. I dont think that a lack of ambition is a bad thing but we will never know how good he really was and what honours he could have won

I think Eric Cantona was a better player than MLT and he won honours too

Unfortunately MLT is open to blame for his ionvolvement with Pinnacle.

Apart from Rasiak Davis and Lambert and possibly Harding and Scherdelein the rest are pretty average

Just because he did not want to harm the club does not mean he was right to join the Pinnacle bid. But MLT for Chairman was not really a good idea

So MLT cannot be critised for getting involved with a dodgy outfit which has caused our pre-season to be a shambles. I dont think so it was the MLT factor which kept the Pinnacle bid going for sometime and without we would be in a better position today and Mr Crouch would have more money.

We did have a pre-season and were Rubbish so it is not surprising we are still rubbish

Firstly I disagree with you about MLT being the greatest player to play for us as I think Alan Ball was followed by Terry Paine. MLT was the most Skilful Bally and Paine got us to Div 1 MLT kept us there. That Said my first sighting of him was from the West Stand in a League Cup game against United when he came on and scored two goals at the Milton Road End the defeat cost Big Ron his job and brought Fergie to United

I agree but I think if we could get in another two or three things would be a lot better we have lost BWP Euell Surman McGoldrick Saejis Skacel and not replaced them all

Surely it would be better to find a replacement for him first

We obviously need a CB and CM as soon as possible

I thought that it was poor management from JP Lowe Wilde and Wotte which caused our relegation but now as I suspected the players had something to do with it. Although I agree it would be a good idea to get in some better players it is hardly likely that we can off load some our current ones

I know but he is not any better than Wotton and is too lightweight

I totally agree we seem to be in the same position as we were two years ago when burley was in charge getting in Euell and John when we needed CBs

Well if he wants success he better improve I would have thought Realistically Though it is going to take time to build a side to perform well regularly and getting in a few new players will not guarntee instant success so AP will like us have to be patient
