The problem is that Pardew has not been good when teams start losing from what I have read on Charlton sites. I think it is the same with most managers Redknapp Pearson JP Wotte Lawrie Mac could not get Saints to perform well after a series of defeats so it is important that we start well

Sorry but I disagree you as sometimes quite agressive in your postings Perhaps confrontationally is not the right word. But I totally agree with the sentiments of your post to reserve the right to disagree with posters who attempt to rewrite history or to present conjecture as fact. Which is my point totally that is why I sometimes get involved because nobody can be totally wrong or even totally right. The past is the past and people have different slants on it there are so many ifs and buts. I still think that the way we were set up and because we had no significant backer and star players we were bound to be relegated from the Premiership
