It is a shame that we did not give a trial to some of the players we have played over recent years before buying them.
Giving players trials seems a good idea as fitness levels can be checked
If you read Pardew's Comments he is
Looking for Bosmans with priority as there are bargains to be found and putting feelers out for loans and other players.
A pretty good approach I would have thought but we need to be patient
I dont think Pardew has said anything about where we may finish this season.
With the -10 deduction and a new team he expects to be mid table by Christmas.
Which seems realistic and if we are there and playing well investment may be available to push us on to higher things
Exactly he appears to be doing everything as I would have expected from an experienced manager.
It is shame he did not arrive a month earlier as I think we would be in such a better shape but that is in the past
I think we should let Pardew get on with rebuilding the team in a professional way.
It is going to take time probably but with SFC having no debt no shareholders and a united fanbase it should happen sooner than later
I am a positive realist - the team is not good enough at the moment
Mr Pardew agrees too

When we have a decent squad I will be a lot happier
Perhaps the Echo could find out further information.
I could understand Tisdale turning down an interview but SFC would need to get permission to talk to him surely
I am not sure that lots more goals are scored in League 1 from looking at last years tables but some teams at the bottom were really bad and let in more goals than we did in CCC
What he said was he hoped to be in mid table by Xmas and would could be done then

AS in OP
The problem is that Pardew has not been good when teams start losing from what I have read on Charlton sites.
I think it is the same with most managers Redknapp Pearson JP Wotte Lawrie Mac could not get Saints to perform well after a series of defeats so it is important that we start well
