  1. Leicester now looking for CB as Fofanna has broken his leg
  2. I do not understand why anybody would boo people for taking the knee is nothing political is nothing to do with BLM it just taking a stand against racism what is wrong with that Do you really think that most of our black footballers get stick because of their colour
  3. I think if you had friends and work mates who have suffered racist abuse which has affected there lives perhaps you would have a different attitude Why do you think it is right to verbally abuse me for being appalled at the attitude of so many against footballers who are making a stand against racism and inequality
  4. Surely it is common decency to support the footballers who wish to make the lives of millions much better It just shows how morally bankrupt our country has become with posts like yours
  5. Absolute nonsense there is nothing political in highlighting the problems BAME people endure in the UK
  6. No it is not taking the knee was started by an American Footballer to highlight how badly BAME people are treated in the USA and has been carried on the UK to highlight the similar treatment that they suffer in the UK
  7. Surely just shite most of the time
  8. Or Goalkeeper too which I find strange as most on here seem to think Forster and McArthy are crap
  9. John B

    Danny Ings

So why are you so against him going to a better club with more prospects and less chance of being in a relegation fight and getting abuse from fans when things go wrong
  10. John B

    Danny Ings

I think you are probably wrong Ings just wants to see if he can get a better deal at a better club which most reasonable people have no issue with Have you never wanted to leave your current job and try to get a better one it is so common
  11. Yes that is the only one I remember
  12. The problem which you seem to have overlooked is that it is the healthy ones who have the virus are spreading it and in some cases killing people. If you do not look after yourself there is a chance that you will get Covid and may be very ill and have after affects for sometime which will put a a burden on the NHS Just think of others instead of your self
  13. That is clearly correct because it is possible to be vaccinated and have Covid that is why passports are unlikely to become law as the Labour Party agrees with what you are saying Of course we have to live with Covid but everything should be done to limit its spread but passports do not completely reduce the spread
  14. Easy to scoff but who would you play at LB in a pre season friendly
  15. I just read somewhere Kane could get £350000 per week I think the Average Weekly Wage in the UK is about £600 so to earn £350000 the average person would have to work for approx 12 years
  16. It is the UK Govt which is all over the place as it signed a Brexit deal that it probably knew would not work especially in NI and now want to renegotiate it I realise you are not stupid Lord Duckhunter but your stance on Brexit unfortunately does not bear this out
  17. As you know we are out of the EU but the fools in Govt you support now realise that the Brexit they signed up to is pretty unworkable without being iin the single market Which has been obvious to most rational observers for sometime There would be no problem of course if NI was not in the UK but is and there has to be a border somewhere and a hard border on the Island of Ireland wrecks the GFA unless the UK is in the Single Market It is just the way it is but of course you and your ilk will just continue blustering whilst thing go wrong
  18. So Brexit isn't done, and the oven ready deal wasn't ready. The Northern Ireland border always made Brexit a non-starter, unless we stayed in the single market. Maybe it's time those who campaigned for it just acknowledge that simple fact.
  19. I quite like this season's format
  20. They may be crap at the moment but my Middlesex Member's son born in 1976 has seen Middlesex win the Championship eight times in his lifetime
  21. I am not complaining just felt strange Good to see Gubbins score runs as he has had a pretty lean time recently
  22. So are we currently bottom of the League as the other four teams involved got the same or more points than us Is there relegation?
  23. Felt a bit strange with two batsmen at the crease at the end with no real Hampshire pedigree but great to be in Div 1
  24. I do not think you understand what I am saying because you do not completely understand the process for penalty shootouts The team has to submit the five initial penalty takers prior to the shoot out Southgate chose his five after consideration to what had happened in training and the ones he chose chose did not perform as well as was required and neither did two of the Italians. Rashford made a mess of his which put put pressure on the other two who's penalties were not bad misses but not good enough and I thought the Italian Goalkeeper was excellent After choosing the five you cannot change the penalty takers so the die was cast not helped by having to take the last penalty I know we lost the shoot out and if others had taken them we may have one but I doubt if that would have happened but of course it may have Surely Southgate did what he thought was the best with his choice of penalty takers but it is not easy taking them as other teams missed them too as did Harry Kane in the previous game. On most occasions the score is not 5 5 after the initial shoot out and England have only won 2 out of 9 shootouts over twenty five years so there is need for improvement but how that can be achieved is not easy as the solution is pretty complex no doubt in the forthcoming Open Golf some of the leading golfers will make a balls up of a putt which they would normally make
  25. You may well think my post is stupid but the three who missed the penalties are top class performers they may well be young but they showed in training that they had the ability to score penalties But on the day they did not due to a combination of circumstances including the fact that the goalkeeper was imposing and has a good record of saving penalties and the fact that the team who takes the penalties usually wins If Grealish or Sterling had shown that they were more likely to score in training they would have taken them last night Southgate chose the ones he wanted to take them not on a whim but on evidence It is not as though the experienced Italian players scored all five they had two misses
