  1. Good news, but I wish they would bring back the crystal maze I always kind of enjoyed watching w@nky middle management types struggle with a puzzle a five year old could do! This sums it up!
  2. Don't forget the 7 weeks free hospital treatment one of them recieved as well! Plus those two illegal immigrants from Iran, why are they allowed to make their own way to the immigration office, ffs? Surprise, surprise they never showed up, so that's two more criminals loose on the streets then!!
  3. They must have been on crystal meth, or at least crack cocaine, the one that was arrested, when she was at the police station her face showed signs of serious drug abuse!
  4. How things have changed! I remember when the away fans would sing "Play up P****Y" at us when they wanted to wind us up!
  5. Don't agree with it in other sports either, the decisions should be made by the officials on the field and that includes overturning red cards as well. Trouble is its not about the sport anymore but always about how much prize money will that decision cost the aggrieved club if a dodgy decision causes them to finish 12th in the table instead of 11th etc. Any sport is bound to throw up controversial decisions now and again, that's the beauty of it, its fast(well most sports anyway) and people make mistakes. Plus who says video replays are clear cut anyway? Remember Saints FA Cup visit to Old Trafford when we won on pens? Didn't Man U have a good claim for a goal in extra-time, when Tim Flowers clawed the ball away from the goalline! Despite Sky showing replays from about four different angles no-one could say wether the ball had crossed the line or not because someone was always in the way, and this was a time when Sky used to put a small camera inside the goal stanchon! Football isn't cricket and If you take away controversy and talking points from football it will become even more staid and boring than its becoming already. Some people won't be happy until we are all sat down quietly whilst gently applauding when something remotely interesting happens.

    Stella Artois

I love Kronenbourg the best tasting lager in the UK at the moment IMO. One of only two lagers I drink with any regularity(Carlsberg Export being the other), never been to France so haven't tried it there, and Becks is much better in Germany than the cr@p we get over here. :drinkers:

Old twitchy face has admitted he's out of form, Probably been up all night playing on his PS3, at least he gets to see himself keep a clean sheet!
  8. Now what bunch of inbred mutants would smash up their own town after winning a football match 1-0?
  9. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_east/7632930.stm And they still have to face each other twice more! That reporter sounds like he's on 40 fags a day ffs!
  10. They should be thankful this isn't Italy, they would be too scared to leave the house/Mansion!
  11. 13,895
  12. Probably something along the lines of "Coming to these places are never easy..." "It was an unusual place to play football..." (Get used to the mass of empty seats lads) The usual BS in other words!
  13. Be careful you may upset his boyfriend, Fish Fingers!
  14. Still half is more that you, you witless t****r
  15. You really are a **** aren't you?!
  16. +1
  17. Time for the fans to form our own club a la Wimbledon, Man U and Liverpool. I'd rather go and watch southern league football than this pile of ****. Might mean ground sharing at Eastleigh but the way this club is heading they might end up there first.
  18. That's cr@p IMO. Football has survived this long without it. If you allow video replays for disputed goals where will it stop? Next it will be replays to see which player the ball came off, for a throw in etc. If they can put a microchip inside the ball that sets off a buzzer when it crosses the goaline then fair enough so long as it can be used in every match at every level. The great thing about football is the guys on a muddy pitch playing in some Sunday league game were playing to the same rules as the superstars in the Premiership, bring in video replays and its no longer the same game. As I said in my other thread, if people want 100% fairness go watch two people playing PES or FIFA where the computer never makes a mistake! Players make mistakes, officials make mistakes get used to it!

  20. Yet again there has been more calls for video replays in football after that Watford v. Reading match on Saturday. Yes the linesman made a huge mess of it, and it was probably the worst decision I've seen since that incident at the Dell when Mark Hughes' fierce drive went in, and bounced back off of the advertising boards and came back out and wasn't given! The football experience has already become sterilised, can't stand up, can't swear, can't smoke etc. Please don't take away major talking points as well. If every contentious issue is decieded by video replay then you may as well go and watch two people playing PES or FIFA video games! These things happen, the officials are humans and humans make mistakes. All those people who were at that game on Saturday will remember that game for years, it will be something they will tell their kids/grandkids about in the future. If a video replay had cancelled out the goal, would people have gone away talking about it? In a years time no-one is going to remember a run of the mill 2-2 draw(or 2-1 Watford win as it would have been if the goal hadn't been given) but they will remember that. Yes its hard on a team but these things do even themselves out. The Media always go on about how behind the times football is compared to Rugby and Cricket in the use of video technology, but I am one person who is happy that it is and long may that continue.

Also worth a mention. Spurs 0 Wigan 0. Spurs still bottom and a relegation six-pointer coming up next Sunday at Pompey!!

    Pompey

Lets hope this lifts the Guimares players to overturn that 2-0 deficit. Pompey's creaking defence just can't handle fast attacking football, it could have been double figures according to five live!
  23. Its easy to knock Pompey when they get thrashed... ...and great fun too! Still shouldn't knock a team when their down... ...well be a few months yet won't it.

    Pompey

Quick rename this thread, "The official Man City 6 Pompey 0 thread" and start the Harry excuses sweepstake. I'm going for, "The players were tired after playing on Thursday!" excuse!
