Protest stage 2: February 21st, meeting at bargate again.

The whole organisation thing. At least, from what I can tell. I must admit I have no interest in going on any of them anyway. -

Well, I'm glad you lot aren't running the club. This whole thing is a mess! (can't work out the similies, but a winky thing would go here.) -
This thread should be retitled "Pearson - Opinionated B*llocks"
-
Getting old is the new staying young.

Started off funny, but 5 and 6 are crap. Everyone enjoys a good "education getting easier" gag, so why did they ruin it? Idiots. I will complain.
-
Would be funny if skates wanted him but he ended up going back to Chelski.
-
Peter Reid? Carlton Palmer?

Thing with Grant was that he didn't need to boost his own ego. He got on with the job and was very unlucky to end up winning nothing last season. Sadly his reign was pre-judged and, amazingly, people judged him on his apperance as well. At least under Avram Chelski looked like they might score a goal.

Yes. It is a well known fact that there is only one way to play football. Every game should see two teams doing exactly the same thing over and over again. It is amazing anyone would try and do anything other than the same thing as everyone else.
-
I quite agree, which is why Ian Holloway is the most successful manager in modern football.
-
Howard Wilkinson IMO. It is clear they need an manager with experience of the English game. Apparently that is the only quality that matters.
-
lol...they should never have got rid of Avram Grant. Serves them right.
-
I am wondering what task I should work on next.
-
I reckon the skates are worse than all three of those teams.
-
Which three? From what I've watched I believe Poopey are one of the worst three.

You know MRSA and c-difficile have actually killed people, and has affected our national health service, whereas Lowe and Wilde have killed no-one and run a football club? Can you see how one might be more important than the other? Also, can you see how someone has asked him to get involved in the hospital campaign? It mentions it in the article. Amazing.

http://www.rosebowlplc.com/shop/162/ Bargain, never bought one before, but got myself one of the yellow one day ones.

So many clubs have done so well when having 3 managers in a season. No, really.
-
The surrounding areas in Soton weren't dangerous at all though.
-
I like Setanta. NRL, boxing, Premiership Rugby in two years time, Celtic League rugby, MLB, NHL & college football. Also, when I had to cancel my freeview subscription they did it straight away. What the US golf sometimes on a Sunday night as well with the paper.

I have noticed this too, and am concerned!

Because there are scheduled league fixtures on all remaining cup weekends. In fact, some knowledge of football what show you that FA Cup 5th Round weekend is next weekend, yet we are playing Bristol City in the league. Then, you could say that on 6th Round or Semi-final weekend if the team we were supposed to be playing was in the FA Cup still it would become free. A quick glance at the fixture list easily tells you that the two teams we are playing on those dates are already out the FA Cup. There have been league fixtures on these dates for many, many seasons. It is not new. That is why.
-
Yup, in fact there were very few issues with the surrounding area in Soton on Tuesday. The pavements were a little wet, but not icy. There was no reason for the game not to go ahead. I see the poster lives in Bournemouth - and I know that area was worse, but Saints can't call a game off because it is snowing in Bournemouth.

Now you know why there is a lack of jobs in UK
bungle replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Muppet Show
The manufacturing base of our economy fell away some time ago. Now, as those involved have retired, we have a massive skill shortage in these areas. We should be encouraging more children to learn manufacturing skills, and indeed we should be offering incentives for those who have lost their jobs to learn the appropriate skills. -
How have you managed to only just realise it will be a mid-week game?
