ITV have selected Paulton v Norwich for live tv coverage. If Avon & Somerset feel that they only have the staff to do the one game per day plus be able to cover their regular duties then so be it. You may not like it, but they aren't here to please you.

Ha. The Crock of Gold was the pub I was in as well! Got in there at around 11.30, left for tailgate at 12.20, and got back to the pub at 12.35! It did get rather rammed later on, but actually the service at the bar was pretty quick. The highlight of my day was going to the bar, chatting to some Australian guy about the rugby league the night before, and then him buying me my two drinks. If you're reading, cheers mate!

Hmm, only just read this, hence I didn't text/call you! Didn't go to tailgate in the end. Queue was a mile long, so stayed in the pub! Game was a bit lop-sided, but at least the two interceptions of Brady and the Tampa TD late in the first half kept the interest going for a bit longer. Still, always awesome to actually get to watch an NFL game.

Think we got a couple of thousand last time. The terrace and then most (all?) of the stand behind the goal. Be interesting to see if they do a priority scheme (i.e. ST holders with 4 away games get first dibs), or just ST holders first. You would think that all the tickets will go to ST holders. Well, my worst fears weren't realised, in that Griffin didn't get a chance to 'look normal', by discussing non-race issues. However, Question Time is hardly the greatest show for political debate, all the answers really end up being soundbites and if you are 5th to answer a question you get barely any time at all. That said, for the first time a BBC presenter actually quizzed Griffin a bit more seriously. Usually he has had any easy ride. So fair play to Dimbleby for that.

Remember, Jack Straw has to fight against the BNP in Blackburn, so to be honest I think he will be much better than people are expecting.

Make no mistake there will be BNP sympathisers in there applauding everything Griffin says, just as much as there will be some people shouting abuse at him at every opportunity. Again, my 'concern' is that clearly not all the questions are going to be on issues that show the BNP at the racist bigots they are. The party has also taken on a 'media friendly' stance, and tones itself down in public. Their views haven't changed. They are still vile thugs, but they are much more adept at keeping that out of the public eye.

Beat high-flying (well, sort of!) Basingstoke 4-3 at Twerton Park last Saturday, week before that was 4-1 away win at Bishops Cleeve. Bath have Romanian midfield genius Florin Pelecaci who is being chased by League One Exeter City. It's the end of the road for Totton on Saturday!

I wouldn't mind Paulton away, but I do wonder if they would be allowed to play us at their ground. As for Totton, well they will clearly lose to the mighty Bath City!
