  1. The BBC were left with little option. They extended invites to the Greens and UKIP when they won Euro seats. Also, the best way to tackle the BNP is to take them on head on, when they are challenged it becomes obvious they are racist, bigoted and (most importantly) total idiots. However, the worrying thing about tonight is, for example, someone might ask a question about crime. And Griffin can say "Well, yes, we do have too much crime, and what we need is more police on our streets." Then everyone goes, 'Well, isn't he sensible. He's not nasty at all.' The whole show clearly isn't going to be about how racist and bigoted they are. Make no mistake, Griffin IS a digusting and vile human being. But he will have been trained, and he knows he needs to look like he is a respectable person. The BBC have a poor record of actually asking him and other BNP politicians difficult questions. We will see what happens tonight.
  2. I am interested in purchasing a Harp beer mat to go with my Harp glass.
  3. I have about 4 Grolsch pint glass and a Harp Lager glass. "Harp. Stays sharp to the bottom of the glass." Can you even get it anymore?
  4. http://www.becks.co.uk/glassPromotion.aspx Hurrah. A useful free item.
  5. I watched Debrechen vs Fiorentina. Excellent game.

    Why?
  7. Generally Sky pick their games 6-8 weeks in advance. You can check how far ahead they have picked games by going to http://www.skysports.com/football and clicking the Live on Sky link. Occasionally they will select a game closer to when it is played (think we once had one that was going to be on Sky, but then not due to an FA Cup Replay, or a game having to be moved to a Sunday, or somesuch). Towards the end of the season they pick games only a couple of weeks ahead (the Monday night at West Brom springs to mind). Unfortunately, there is b*gger all you can do about it in terms of train fares. I am in the same boat as you as I book months in advance.
  8. Nick Holmes is no longer Salisbury manager. He has moved 'upstairs' and another ex-Saint, Tommy Widdrington is now in charge.
  9. I was enjoying this thread until then.

  12. I will be forwarding this information to the National Football League.
  13. Good stuff. Did you win tickets to the official tailgate party beforehand as well?
  14. I went to the European Egg-Chasing game between Bath and Stade Francais yesterday. It was quite entertaining, Bath surged ahead in the first half, but then contrived to totally throw the game away, by conceded a try with about 4 minutes left, conversion was missed which would have put Stade ahead, but then Bath managed to concede a penalty in the final minute. The locals were not happy! All very good as you can stand up, and also they had Theakstons Best. Anyone else watch any egg-chasing?
  15. Almost Monday afternoon now. Will things get better for him then, or is he likely to face difficulties during lunch?!
  16. He's pretty rubbish and hopefully he'll be off in January.
  17. Neil Moss.

You are a bit thick if you think no-one has noticed. The problem is a lot of people are actually happy about it. I can never quite fathom these people. Delldays is one. He would be quite happy for someone from the government to follow him around all day, I expect.
  19. E, by gum!
  20. By the way, is anyone bothering to pay the £13 to watch this fight?
  21. Farage talks so little sense it is untrue. He lies and he manipulates. He is far worse than most politicians in that regard. If you are bought in by his presentation skills then more fool you.
  22. Considering that sending people to jail actually leads to people reoffending, you are just plain wrong. It's absolutely stupid to send this guy to prison, it would do anything productive. Yes, he should be punished, but not by a custodial sentence.

Another one who doesn't understand the graph.

Methinks: 1) You don't understand the graph 2) You have no idea what the major political parties stand for, and thus your idea of where they should be on the graph is well off.
  25. lol. I'll give Mr Farage his due, he is a good public speaker. Unfortunately, most of what he says is complete b*ll*cks. Best bit of QT was Damian Green calling the BNP "stupid". Not often I agree with a Tory, but they are all a bit thick. Griffin will be shown up for the ignorant thicko he is next Thursday.
