The game is so much slower in Italy, you often see strikers wandering around offside, and then diving back onside to make their run. It doesn't really work as well in England as the game is so much quicker, and he'll have to adjust to that.

He wasn't great, but then: 1) It was his first start for us, so still getting used to team mates 2) He has only ever played competitive football in Italy, a totally different style of football. It will take a bit of time to acclimatise. 3) I didn't think we gave him much great service. So, not an awe inspiring debut, but I see no reason to write him off just yet.

Can anyone see Cortese putting up with this much longer ?

What is important is that the powers that be at this club totally IGNORE (and if possible do the opposite of) the prevailing view of the morons on here. -
Probably the best reason to support the petition, IMO.

I am reliable informed to drink in the Griffin outside the station, and then head down to Carlisle Rugby Club which has an excellent bar and welcomes football fans.

So, why DID Mark Fry prefer Pinnacle over Liebherr?

You seemed pretty good at forgetting that while we were in administration. -
Sorry, poor grammar by me. I was using "they" to mask gender. The person is Scottish.
-
Still no-one has guessed correctly. Another hint: they are scottish.
-
Right, I'm off for a bit now, so will leave 2 hints: 1) Was getting the 0656 train between Bournemouth and London Waterloo. 2) A football personality as both player and manager. All the best.

I see that Tahir isn't playing for Titans.
-
Nope. Saw him yesterday, but then not suprising considering I was at his speech.
-
Still none right.

None right so far. One guess isn't a million miles away.

Lol. Poor old dulldays. -
...Bournemouth train station this morning? In the same style of Hatch's old "Who have I seen today?" threads. I may provide some hints later.

The real terms cost of motoring has gone down significantly since Labour came to power, so it is unfair to suggest they are biased against the motorist. Can't spot these plans anywhere at the moment, so can't comment on them specifically. -
Who said that the Merlin is a good pub? It's also sh*te.
-
Some people on this forum seriously have no idea what a pub is.

Just buy advance fares. Buy all my tickets in advance and do Bath to Soton for £6 return most Saturday games.

Saga did a nice big juicy dive. What a cheat.

Studies into the death penalty ALL indicate that it costs the state MORE to use the death penalty than to imprison someone for life. Anyway, the major point in this argument to me is that state sanctioned murder is still murder. We become no better than the criminal. The state doesn't not have a right to take someones life. It would absolutely disgust me if the wacky loonies like and colin"loon in chief"jb got their way.

Nick, you are trying to save pennies. The best way of reducing the money we pay to the NHS would be to scrap the 'new' (must be getting quite old now), IT system. Having arguments over whether nurses should order 10 bandages at a high price or whether having someone whose job it is to order many hundred (thousand?) at a substantially lower price is at BEST going to be savings in pennies. I am, however, going to bow to the person with knowledge of what goes on, at that is BtF, not you.
