This deserves another LOL.

And a 3rd for Broad. Have that SWF.
-
Broad 6-91 at Headingley, 2 wickets here. Yet this forum would have dropped him from the team.

Agree, Labour are scum.
-
199/6. Hopefully can end the first innings today and get 1 or 2 down in their 2nd innings.

It's a French airport.

He was never funny. Just a thicko kid.

Why do they need to do it in the way you have suggested? We could also bowl them out for 350 in the morning session tomorrow, then get 350 ourselves by Sunday lunch, and then have 5 sessions to bowl them out for 330 which will be a big target on this pitch? Why do you believe there is just one way to win?

That is very interesting, and perhaps delldays thinks the US scum that murdered 290 people in an Iranian passenger jet should rot in prison. Hopefully an Iranian one?

If so, why should be listen to their views? Speaking in the "heat of the moment" almost always involves an unjustified view. I would not go to someone who has just had a family member murdered to ask their view on punishment for murder victims, you would not get a considered response. The fact that many Scottish families have been able to show compassion speaks wonders.

The majority of "local" reaction suggests they believe 1) he shouldn't have dropped his appeal, they feel they don't know the truth of the matter, and victims' families feel like they are short of 'closure', 2) They seem pleased to offer compassion, as he is 3 months from death.
-
However, it is quite rare to be granted a 2nd appeal, which indicates either new evidence, or a feeling that the past trials were not aatisfactory.
-
654-8 declared, Dimi 48*, Griffiths hit 20 from 15 balls.
-
He did lose an appeal in 2002.
-
It does sound like that he agreed to drop his appeal for the chance to spend 3 months with family (having said that, I think he asked to stay in Scotland, did he not?). I suppose it makes little difference to now to him if he clears his name or not. However, plenty of the victims' families still feel that the wrong man has been jailed.
-
Actually, it's the right-wing "let's send everyone to jail for as long as possible" brigade that are f*cking up this country. Not that this chap shouldn't have gone to jail (if he did it), but when he has three months to live, what is his "punishment" achieving. It's just costing us (well, in this case the Scots) money. (And yes, I appreciate that for some of you costing the Scottish taxpayer money would be a good enough reason to keep someone in jail. )
-
Also, it seems like a lot of people think he didn't do it.

Sussex are 742/5 at Somerset on the 2nd day, Murray Goodwin with 344 off 349 balls. That is a big score, even for Taunton.
-
Impossible to appeal on the basis there hasn't been a first application yet.

Appalling use of capital letters as well.
