Not a great prediction, that.

I demand this forum be used more. I've not been to Edgeley Park before, so looking forward to it. Quite easy for me to get to on train as well.

Anyone ever been before, got any boozing advice?
-
Shouldn't this be on the Saints Away Supporters board?

Got tickets for Plymouth in November. It better be good!

Avon River non-runner. Gone for Suffolk Punch in that one.

Today's Goodwood tips, as fuelled by my rather painful hangover. Never again! Not sure how I am going to split these yet, won't be 7 singles. But: 2.10 Drumfire 2.45 Artistic License (Channon) 3.25 Acrostic 4.00 D1ck Turpin 4.35 Avon River 5.10 Golden Stream 5.45 Mattamia Edit: For anyone who has been following my "tips" you might think it would be better to lay all these horses!

I quite like my pizza cooked in a deep fire. I would imagine that is how the Italians would do it. What the f*ck is wrong with you?

Football Manager 2009 - Southampton Save Game Thread
bungle replied to Matthew Le God's topic in Computer Games
I never play with Saints. Most recently I started in the Serbian 2nd tier, but have had some classic games in random areas. I never join teams with money to spend. Boring. -
If anything, FM should scrap the 3D match engine as it doesn't really add anything to the game, IMO. It developed a core following because it didn't bother with the cheesy stuff and got on the the simulation of management. The last FM I really didn't like, and I haven't played for some time now. I think they have started trying to add too many things that aren't needed.

Brad Haddin out due to injury! (Broke his finger during warm-up, Ponting didn't know and put him in the team and had to get special permission to change!)
-
Just watched it. You are right there. Still, they say you shouldn't let the facts get in the way of a good rumour.

David Dunn. Absolutely no contest.
-
He didn't bowl any. Cheetham, Laxman, Parry and Chilton for Lancs. Cheetham hit with his first ball, and the 9 after that were missed.

1.15pm bowl-out indoors at Old Trafford.

Sorts the men from the boys, IMO.

I understand wanting more one day games on weekends, but surely this isn't the way to go about it? Also, surely lots of grounds with floodlights are going to miss out on day/night games, which still seem to draw a very decent crowd. Looks like an absolute p*ssing disaster from the ECB, who really are showing that they don't have a clue. Twenty20 will draw crowds (f*ck knows why, it is sh1te) whenever they play it in the summer, be it at weekends or after work. So why it needs to be concentrated in June and July I can't quite figure out either. Load of carp.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/counties/8159399.stm This looks to be an absolute f*cking joke. 1) I don't care about Twenty20 cricket 2) What the bloody hell is going on with this Sunday league malarky? Two innings per team of 40 overs each??!! Does this mean it will be just a league with no final at Lord's? Absolutely ridiculous. I just hope that the seeming lack of one day cricket up until June and July means that will play some Championship games at weekends. What a load of crap.

According to breaking news thingy on BBC website. Good news. No article yet.

They can delay naming the team.

You mean Clark, not Clarke, I assume?
