Lancs and Somerset have come to a special agreement with the ECB to have one final try tomorrow (Thursday) between 11am and 2.45pm. If it is not possible during that time then there will be a bowl-out.

Marc Gene is awesome. I remember him getting some points for Minardi at the Austrian GP years ago, coming from the back of the grid to snatch 5th or 6th. Those were the days, when I had a team to support.
-
Sebastian Bourdais I reckon.

Taylor is still on for winning all the ranking events this year. He has done: World Championships, UK Open, Las Vegas Desert Classic & World Matchplay. Just the World Grand Prix to go, and that is a clean sweep of the "majors". Add to that he broke the world record 3-dart average for a televised game (116.01 in the PL vs John Part) and is regularly averaging 100+ and even 105+. However, the BBC won't even mention him.

Unfortunely, neither of the two major political parties will allow a return to any kind of standing section. The current third party, however, would allow standing to be brought back (although of course clubs would have to consider the costs of doing this, as seen in other countries it is feasible).

So far, it has to be Mark Cavendish. Bradley Wiggins should get a mention for 4th in GC at Le Tour, but to add to 6 stage wins in Le Tour, Cav has won a lot of other races including Milan-San Remo. Froch as well, and he will have another fight this year. Button, if he wins the title.
-
What a corking win for Cavendish today - absolutely no-one anywhere near him. It's great seeing Britain finally having an impact on Le Tour. Excellent stuff. Contador a deserving winner.
-
Excellent day out as always. Was in the Mound Stand - and got around the expensive food issue by taking my own. £3.70 for Pedigree was a bit steep, however.

Dimi "retired hurt" after 4 balls. I hope this is a fake "being hurt", so he didn't get injured, but then why bother to come out and at all?
-
Phil "The Power" Taylor does fitness training now, and about 6 hours a day on the dart board. That is why he is a 13-time world champion, and not Wayne Mardle.
-
They'll also be able to finish at 4pm today, which will be handy.

Hants 191-0 at tea in reply, Carberry with another century scored quickly. Seems to me it's probably a flat pitch that had some dampness in yesterday morning?
-
Royal Mail should be part-privatised, and the money we make selling it off should be invested in the Post Office.
-
To be fair, Carberry has been on England A tours in the past, and I can remember Sky commentators raving about his ability, but saying he hasn't yet put it together. So far this seems to be his best season for Hants, so perhaps he can get back into England contention. Won't be this summer, though.
