I can’t remember if Austin’s Goal at OT (Jan 2016) was from a free kick or corner. I can vaguely remember Toby getting one. But my mind is drawing a blank for others. I asked the same question in the game thread yesterday. I thought the stat was one goal from every 11 corners, so we should be getting one every 2-3 games, not seasons.

Superb wasn’t he? I’d like to see him take a pop at the goal when he bursts through like he was.

Not sure why people are blaming the manager unless he instructed Romeu to miss two sitters and Long to miss two headed chances. Excellent second half, hopefully we can pick up some confidence.

We had a corner right at the death and the egotistical **** held that up by going and shaking the hands of everyone on the front row of the Saints bench. ****. ****, would have been nice if we’d scored from that corner, so many times over the years a team has got one at the death agsinst us. We just couldn’t make it count. We just don’t score from corners I guess.

I was very critical of the first half, so it’s only fair to say that we have been very good in the 2nd half.

This is better from Saints but someone has to be brave and shoot. Bertrand coulda curled one from there but tried to get the perfect pass in.
