First half was encouraging, this second is abject. Same ****ty little passes over and over, if we somehow stretch them we let them regroup and start over. I’m gong to break some furniture.

Heading practice this week. We’ll see a video of them burying header after header against Stuart Taylor on Facebook and a article with “we’ve got to be braver with headers says Dusan Tadic”.

I’m usually optimistic but this team, the way we continually play has me worried. We’re in deep deep trouble if we can’t get the scoring going really soon. Makes me think of that very tidy Forest team that Clough got relegated because they refused to play any other way than tidy triangles of passing when it wasn’t working at all.

The first game seemed different but the rest have been puelesque with interesting possibilities and not much goal action.

Players must be frustrated mind. I know I am, feels like I’ve been watching the same game since February. Last decent performance was the cup final.

The feed I’m watching is showing goals from last week in all the games. Other teams scoring goals. Must be nice. But what strikes me is how quickly teams move the ball and shoot as soon as an opening presents itself. We are so low on confidence we just can’t seem to just let it happen and really try to force an easy unmissable chance.

Could be worse I suppose. Palace now 6.5 games without a goal.
