It's classic case of using people. They want respected posters like Nickh to do their dirty work, and play on making them feel ITK and special. This is how the likes of Jackson operate. I'm a disapointed that Nick is falling for it and angry that there are ****s like Jacko that see nothing wrong in behaving like this. If you need an example of this just look at how Saintlee was played like a fiddle and lost all credibility as a result.

Wacko Jacko is presumably a joke figure to Fry, but also a bartering tool to be used. The fact no-one is taken in by Jacko anymore makes him a pretty useless tool, but he's a tool none the less. Pinacle and other bidders need to keep their heads (which i believe they are doing) and give Wacko Jacko the respect he deserves, i.e no respect.

All that Jackson is doing is ramping up the asking the price thus delaying the real deal. Those defending him need to wake up and realise that this clown has absolutely no chance of getting people to back him. He's nothing short of a laughing stock in the business comunity.

I agree with your first point. Welldone to those who did the organising. On the second point it's not everyones cup of tea - studenty bands aren't my taste in music. And with a recession on people are tightening their purse strings. Also there's the feeling that why should we pay players wages. And perhaps it could have been promoted better (but this is not meant as a criticism as those who orgainised the event don't deserve that).
