  1. No but his Dad has.
  2. I hope it won't be any more explicit than the OP then, otherwise we'll all be in trouble.
  3. Yes my ability to mentally process intricate information like that cost the nation a fortune.Well about 1/30 th of Mrs Cousins (of Bitterne Park Infants School fame) annual salary for the year 1959/60 anyway.Mind you 5 year olds didn't go to the pub at Lunchtime or play 15 hours a day at on line gaming in those days.
  4. Probably but I don't think I'm the only one who is depressed by the lack of English skills of late. There has certainly been a major downturn in the last couple of months. Normally you can just pass it all up, the racism taunts I just couldn't let go and I have my reasons for that, the rest is just ancillary. Deanovski has beguiled us all over 3 pages today with his command of the written language and when you say you don't understand, because you don't, they get all wound up and excited over it.
  5. They are good people, I sent my son round there a while back because he lives across the Channel in Rouen and was going by there anyway. He has an atrocious accent but the young lady understood everything he wanted to say straight off the bat, pretty good, unless she's Morgan's girlfriend or something like that.
  6. It was there from the very outset, with the ticket details when they were first published on thje OS. Here we go http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1966914,00.html
  7. they need a rest more than anything I expect.Pompey,MK Dons, JPT Trophy final, Leeds, poor dears have probably been run off their feet of late.
  8. I doubt if they really thought you were he actually.Did they ask you for the card number first time round?
  9. Ah right so if you had used your own card all would have been clear or if pater had rung up in the first place and enquired about the tickets which he had purchased then a lot of name calling could have been avoided. Sometimes businesses are very reluctant to talk about their affairs with their clients to third parties, family members included.
  10. No not so much, I've never had the honour of coming across Wiltshire Saint before, thus I was unadvised on his "truly unique posting style" I presume you have misspelt definately just to irritate me .The word is DEFINITELY .
  11. But of course, I think we'd already got that bit of the discussion sorted out.
  12. because there's a borderline retarded mong involved apparently.
  13. Well to start with if you started calling me a mong and borderline retarded I'd personally make sure that you never got another ticket for SMS in your life. I'm sure the Ticket Office have read this thread, they usually do. You just had to check with your bank first, if the funds have been transferred then your application has been processed and all the hassle is avoided.
  14. We never did get to know what Saint 67 is reading though.Could you start a thread about that?
  15. So in fact if you had just waited until the tickets are actually sent out this thread would never have existed, is that right? Why did you ring up in the first place and harass an already over extended ticket office? Sometimes you've just got to take people at their word, the lady said it was AOK in the first place and so it was.I can understand the apprehension and not wanting to miss out but with all the big games they've had to deal with in the last few weeks you've just got to trust them and let them breathe for a while.
  16. don't you get three and your out in the UK then? good job we don't live there then, my Mrs hardly ever gets her PIN right first go.
  17. They probably would; Now if you do some quick fag packet maths 44000x£34 (mean ticket price)=1.5 (approx) million £. We can make a bit in short term interest on that sort of sum before we hand it over to the Football League. Not a lot maybe but when combined with all those £3 handling fees it will probably pay Rickie Lambert for a couple of weeks.
  18. Does he actually have an a Mong ?
  19. Perhaps they'll give you one of those new KDDI models.
  20. many will take their wives/husbands who have no interest in football really. It will be a jolly day out though. Still you pays your money and you takes your choice.I really don't think the ticket office expected to sell up so quickly.
  21. I think they do actually but about 50% of the juvenile population don't bother to turn up,mainly because of Happy Hour at the pub starting at 9 am and the queue for breakfast burgers at Mc Donald's being so long. Every time that I'm in the UK (not frequently I'd admit) there seem to be kids on the street at all hours.
  22. If you intend to mail Mr Cortese I suggest you get a translator to help you, I can't make out a word you write, he might not either. You say you made a written application and have your tickets, before that you say you haven't. Nicola won't understand until you make up your mind whether you have tickets or not.
  23. as i said yesterday on another thread you need to look at (if you are inclined or interested) at the football league article 68. Not specific to the FLT but to competitions with final phases on neutral grounds in general. There is a 'pool fund' which takes something from every match and half the final game receipts (including advertising but not television rights) after all deductions are made. The two finalists share the other half of the final match profit (not revenue but profit after all deductions, travelling expenses for the teams etc) In the round matches it's much the same as the FA Cup, 45% of profits to each side and 10% to the pool fund. The pool fund I suppose provides the prize money plus a share out amongst all the participating clubs.Although it will be a great day out for us all at Wembley we are putting our money into every other League 1/2 clubs coffers. As for the TV rights I guess the Football League just gets to keep them, maybe part of it goes to the pool fund and is shared out..couldn't say.
  24. Nope, I want them to get weeny weeny weeny infraction penalties for every time they spell definitely incorrectly. The rest I can take but there's no way that it can be spelt definately and pronounced correctly. Even the Yanks don't do it so why should we. It happens about 50 or 60 times a day at the moment, must be the word in the English Language which is spelt incorrectly the most often. As for the plowed field jibe yesterday the bloke wants shooting. We have a fair number of overseas posters who are not of our nation, we could at least honour their presence by not making the same error time after time after time. Once again this is just my personal opinion,me being a throwback to the time when a education was something of value and not just a pastime until you got your first UB40 to fill out. Rant over:smt012.
  25. Probably not but who cares, I don't go in for "friends" or social networking so I didn't accept anyway. No offence meant though, I just don't see it as being genuinely meant this olive branch. Justice has been seen to be done, that's OK.
