Yes but he's not scoring now, not even playing apparently. Wasn't the same Stern John who turned up in June I'm afraid. Last season he was reliable and fairly prolific, this season he has gone off the boil, think they've noticed already at Bristol City. Could be sick or injured for all I know.He was suspended at the start of the season and seems to have missed the boat since. He'll be back in January so we'll have another chance to assess his worth now won't we.

Did they score today? Did they even get a game ? Load of old rubbish, I prefer the young rubbish, at least it's cheaper to run. Nope seemingly not, perhaps their mum's gave them a note saying they shouldn't play with all those nasty men again.

who thinks it's gonna be another last day relegation fight?

Nope, we'll finish lower mid table.Probably guaranteed to stay up after the 4th of April. -
No we had 20 points before this game. It's a **** up by you.
-
In fact better off, Watford and Norwich are now below us.
-
Good result, up a couple of places. Not a bad afternoon all in all.

I wish I could convince myself that our "commercial activities" don't actually cost us money. The loss is too abyssal for it to be wholly football related.
-
And after all that they're still in League 1. Phoenix rising from the ashes be phoeked .
-
Perhaps they have substantial commercial revenues. Perhaps they do better concerts, better catering. In today's world football revenues are not everything. We only had 4 million or so commercial revenues, not profits revenues. I have no doubt that the "megastores" don't make much money. that's the problem when the board concentrate too much on football, we can't pay our way. The matchday and broadcasting revenues fall 2 million short of out player and coach wage bill.

Not legal I'm afraid, you're not allowed to incite people to drink alcohol.
-
Anyway, ordinary supporters are much more likely to feel at ease with Jan,Mark and some of the players than Lowe,Cowan or Wilde.

Well this is the old Ouroborous question isn't it. The tail eating snake or worm. If sales drop, the VAT on them drops and the government income drops. If you can boost sales by dropping the VAT rate it could well be that you boost sales enough to compensate for the drop in tax revenue. This is always the idea behind all special offers, promotions and cash injections into the economy, more of less is greater that less of more.

It is destined to dupe the public into spending money they don't have as per usual. Yer average Brit is as thick as two short planks. There is a thingy on the BBC site today talking about the difference between entrance standards to Chinese and UK universities. It can only be a joke I suppose becaue the UK uni math question is what I studied in the big kids class at Bitterne Park Junior School. A 3/4/5 right angled triangle. All people over 50 in the Uk would take about as long to write their name as to answer the question. Those probably understand the VAT scam, younger than that I couldn't say, people sent Lady Di wedding presents which she in turn gave to charity.Perhaps the VAT scam is likely to take people in.

Do you seriously believe that they aren't.

Maybe he was pi!ssed off about his picture being taken down.

We only scored 26 home league goals last season ,4 against Hull,3 against Stoke,West Brom and Sheffield Wednesday. Failed to score in 9 home games and scored a measly 13 goals in the other 10 games. Strikers on a total of about 50000 quid a week and we score 26 goals at home. Great bit of business-not.
-
It's a curse I tell eee. How many goals have we scored at home in league games at SMS? How many did we score in a similar number of league games at the Dell? Until we buy up all those tacky houses, run the bulldozer through them and return to our spiritual home we'll continue to not score enough goals at home. I bet in our play-off season we scored nearly as many away as we did at home, true we got 6 against Wolves though.
-
He was being sarcastic I believe.
-
Because all the real finishers are rotting in the reserves at "big clubs" and European minnows because they're in the knockout stages of the Champions League.CCC clubs will take anyone with a reputation of being a hotshot striker (like John and Rasiak) the fact that they don't score just proves that they're no better than those 'hotshot strikers' that they had already. Chelsea and Man U probably have better strikers in their third team than anyone has in the CCC.
-
I'm not sure that that is exactly what it means, if so it makes no sense, everybody has 4 out of 16 or can easily find them so it's a piece of string question; As long as they've been domestically registered (whatever that really means for 3 years alrerady it doesn't matter whether they're 21 or not.
-
It depends what "domestically" means really. The only way I could see it would advantage anyone at the present time is that domestically means 'in the same club' It could also mean in the same league I suppose, meaning not from the Premiership. Very confusing, where's our semantics expert from yesterday?
