Two full games in 4 days could be quite a task for an 18 year old adjusting to a different type of football though.

Certainly were, you couldn't have possibly had time for a **** before kick off and probably needed to go after about 20 minutes thus disrupting the game or everybody in the vicinity.We used to leave the BP Hotel at 2.31prompt, run down to the bus stop, jump on the number 14 as it pulled up,off at Stag Gates, yomp down to the Milton,pay at the gate, quick ****,push our way into the mass behind the goal about half way up and bingo -kick off.

It's "rising to 1.5 million Euros" as far as I know. Probably a lot on international appearances needed to reach that figure. Georges Prost told us to sign him and we did, might never have strayed from the straight and narrow if Prost was still here, he had a way of "pistoning" his young hopefuls into the first team. Perhaps he'll be back soon, don't know how long Puel will want him around at Lyon, difficult guy to work with is Puel-apparently.

Yes but we all know that there are violent morons amongst our "fans". Always have been, always will be ,football supporters are a representative sample of the general population,probability states that some will be stupid and agressive,it would be strange if it was otherwise.

Ever wondered how exactly you can get to lose 300K a week? Seems a staggeringly high figure.Don't remember us buying many players,just Safri,Saga,Thomas,Davies plus the frees.With the, what, 30 man squad we had last year the salary mass couldn't possibly even equate to 300K every week, just how did we lose all that, I know last summer's player sales cut down the amount but did everyone get let in free every week or something.

Don't know, my daughter is only 17 and seems to be going through the "don't want to be seen dead anywhere whatsoever with my parents phase",we just have to get by with knowing that the vast amounts of cash we're expected to dob up at ever decreasing intervals won't be wasted on buying us meals,drinks or gifts.Guess I have all that other stuff to look forward to, don't think my wife would be overly impressed though.

Don't know what he was on about with the LHC at CERN anyway, it's just going through partial trial runs now, 10th September is accelerate particle injection through the whole tunnel,not sure that there will be any collisions for a while though.So call that one "offside" still two strikes to go;

obviously a better paper than the News of the Screws then, more refined judgement.

Perhaps he's less of a drag on the wage bill when he's not playing (or scoring) don't get any bonuses if you're not in the first team squad, don't get any "goal scoring bonuses" if you don't score.Remember him pushing a on a hat-trick Bale aside a few years ago to score a penalty for no apparent reason?. I expect being in the stand will soon start to hit them about wallet high.May even take whatever moves are on offer,like Saga. Edit, got that wrong, wasn't Bale it was Surman,who eventually took the penalty and got a hat-trick, Rasiak tried though.

What like Niall or Neil? sounds about right.

It's not even about being poor, sports writers only know "names", only "names" have any value, if they don't know,party or go to "events" with your players they are forcedly rubbish, just like Hull,Stoke and Bristol City last season.

Be seriously pleased.:eek: Oops wrong smileys, ones I clicked on were yellow.

So, 1 out of 7 isn't bad is it? Never know if we can offload aother 20K or so from the weekly bill might even see a not too bad striker (like Chopra) signing on before the end of the month. First the outs then perhaps the ins, certainly not the other,speculative, way round. -
Brigend is the in place apparently, might as well go to the Cardiff game on your way there.Never know, might be dissausive-on the other hand......

Time travel is impossible, however Einstein said that if you could see round the entire universe you might be able to see yourself tomorrow or something. I don't know, watch a cheap DVD of Paycheck, you'll get the general drift.Might even get to win Euromillions and buy out Saints next friday.

Now Scott,was he the one who drove/flew Thunderbird 2 or was that Virgil? Scott was the sort of athletic astronaut/submariner wasn't he?.I loved that series, hurried home from schoolboy kickabouts on Bitterne Park rec, games of 28 et to eat marmite on toast and watch Thunderbirds, Still don't get the Lady Penelope connection though.Poetic licence I suppose. -

I don't think I would have wasted one of my three daily posts to say that. -
whereas the kids- you can't kick 'em if you can't catch 'em Until the mud comes along.

well then I didn't really read the prompts properly, I saw a credit card sign and clicked on it. That's me all over, I'm an i-shopper so it's a bad habit I expect.
