Right. I think you have to understand that Sky Money was like having an extra 25000 people in the stadium for every game (is that right 25Kx25=625x10"3"= 625Kx19=about 13 million or so. Now Sky money is about 25 million a season minimum so for the like of Derby and Stoke it puts 50000 on their gate for every single home game. How do you think Skate get by on their piddling 18 K gates?, the in ground support pales into insignificance when you've "Sky Money".

i doubt if we shall see regular crowds of 24K plus at SMS for a while now. From what I have been able to ascertain financial constraints are really beginning to bite in the UK now across all sectors. A lot of UK residents are carrying far far too much debt and football will be one of the first "luxuries" to go.At 25/30 quid a match for Second Division football it's not on for a lot of people any more. Think on it, how much have your mortgage repayments gone up this year, what will you cut, your annual holiday or a few football matches?.

Gasmi isn't french for anything, it's a name of Algerian origin, what it means I have no idea.Seems like a common name though. We'll just have to settle for calling him Gasman

I still don't understand this obsession with full backs. When the system works properly we don't need specialists, we need mobile players-which is what we have. Our problem isn't full backs ,it's carthorses in central defence. They should be gobbling up anything that comes in from the wings, they aren't because they weren't jumping, turning or moving any faster than spastic slugs on Saturday. All our problems came from there and Gillett giving free ball away.

I don't know anything about Gasmi but I saw Zidane play quite a few times, his was a physique that made you think twice about going in a giving him a bit of a nibble round the ankles. Hard guy Zidane,Used to get a lot of cards in his early days I think.No-one who saw him walk all over that Saudi guy in 98 or get sent off for a head butt in the 2006 final would call him a softy.

Not at 5ft 8 he isn't. Zidane is a big bulky bloke, well over 6 ft tall, low centre of gravity, not easy to push off the ball. Gasmi isn't a flyweight but he's much smaller than Zidane.
