Err I think he was agreeing with you because he knows what you do, most of us do and thus take whatever you might say as fairly reliable. -
Good
-
I certainly hope not.
-
Hah, I see the Spanish are going to veto any separate Scotland discussions because they don't want the Catalans getting any ideas.
-
This is his last stab at some real money, he's probably been on a derisory salary at Nice and at pushing 30 he'll want to wring ever last euro out of the bit of attention that he's currently drawing. That's why he'll sign for PSG any day now.
-
No he's going to Paris St Germain. Same manager though.
-
Unless we're going to sign his son Gregoire. He's a right back(not a particulary good one I believe) thus Number 2 . He's also their second child I think, Charlène being the eldest. Now she's a shîte hot 800 metre runner, surely we need one of those.
-
No, apparently he's falling over himself to accept the last minute offer he got from PSG, told you so yesterday.
-
Adding a lot more than Wilshere is neither here nor there, Wilshere shouldn't have been in the squad, he was just the token Arsenal player in the lot.
-
Olympique Parc was only completed at the end of last year and the first match was in January of this year. If they'd built it 10 or 12 years ago as was SMS then it would have cost a damn sight less I expect. Still not 30 million £ though, then again it isn't a flat pack 32K seater stadium.
-
Stadium cost 480 million, some public money, rest from the OL.

So as I said, they probably need money. Don't much fancy their chances of being in the Premier League come June 2017 myself. -
When you have to find 300 million euros for a stadium nothing is a "side track". Lyon sell any player who is coming to the end of his contract, doesn't look like renewing and and to whom a big price tag can be attached. Wait up, that sounds quite familiar really doesn't it. Might as well apppoint a manager who's used to it.
-
And Benzema must have followed suit to Madrid the season after. Aulas cashes in on his players regularly. Their new stadium didn't pay for itself. It cost 480 million euros or so, so much in the same way as Arsenal it hampered their side for a good few years, even before it was even started. Once the agreement was received in 2008 everything was for the Stadium. think there was about 180 million euros of public money and the rest was financed by the OL. Not an expert on that though.

Need money I expect. They got about 70 million from the Premier League last season but their stadium and marketing receipts aren't probably up to much. Did they not spend a packet on players between last summer and January ? Did they get fined for FFP contraventions in their Championship days? -
Well no because that's a crap side and Shawcross is in the first XI and in the reserves simultaneously. Dier needs to be slung out as far as you can send him from midfield, he adds nothing there, needs to be a defender or nothing. He's passable at Spurs because Alderweireld and Vertonghen can both move the ball forward nicely, as we've seen with England when you have oafs like Smalling and Cahill it becomes more complicated.
-
So, what difference does that make really. It's a logical progression and he did some pretty good things there. CL quarters I think, signed Hazard from Belgium etc. Puel is a good manager and I hope he finally gets the job.
-
Everybody seems to just totally ignore the six seasons he spent at Lille.

More fool them, transfer market has gone mad, 5 million quid for a manager, 30 odd million for a maybe/maybenot like Batshuayi ..it will all not end well. Still what can you expect when Spurs paid 20 odd million for that Korean bloke last summer. -

depends which one of them it is, seems to be a lot of Moussa Dembelés just now. -
Bookies wringing the last bent florin out of it I expect. Who knows.
-
Although probably about the median for footballers. As I said elsewhere you'd probably need the sum of 3 or 4 to get a decent IQ score.
-
That I couldn't say, it wouldn't really surprise me. Puel is a good manager but I'm told that he is "exacting" in negociations and conditions. The fact that he pursued Lyon to our equivalent of the Supreme Court over compensation for getting sacked by them (lost anyway) shows what he's prepared to do if he thinks he has a cause. Think of the sums he must have spent running after about 5 million euros that he thought he was owed. Can't have cost him much less than that really as it's been going on for about 5 years through every industrial tribunal and court in the land.
-
As I told you this morning negociations were reported as ongoing. Then again they were with Nice a few weeks back until he suddenly pulled the plug on them.
