  1. depends which one of them it is, seems to be a lot of Moussa Dembelés just now.
  2. Bookies wringing the last bent florin out of it I expect. Who knows.
  3. Although probably about the median for footballers. As I said elsewhere you'd probably need the sum of 3 or 4 to get a decent IQ score.
  4. That I couldn't say, it wouldn't really surprise me. Puel is a good manager but I'm told that he is "exacting" in negociations and conditions. The fact that he pursued Lyon to our equivalent of the Supreme Court over compensation for getting sacked by them (lost anyway) shows what he's prepared to do if he thinks he has a cause. Think of the sums he must have spent running after about 5 million euros that he thought he was owed. Can't have cost him much less than that really as it's been going on for about 5 years through every industrial tribunal and court in the land.
  5. As I told you this morning negociations were reported as ongoing. Then again they were with Nice a few weeks back until he suddenly pulled the plug on them.
  6. Honestly you all need to forget about Ben Arfa.
  7. Sod all I expect.
  8. Greedy bastards, after all that they collected on the referendum you'd think they could do without kicking the cages of their mug punters for a day or two wouldn't you.
  9. What with Rafa, would make sense, Lee was at one time Rafa's assistant at Liverpool I believe.
  10. Why did he leave then ? Perhaps a mate of his has got a manager's job somewhere or other. To think that apparently we fell out with Garcia over keeping Sammy Lee. Could that mean that Rudi is back in the frame?
  11. Even taking the Wheelchair was an error on the part of the manager, just had to be one Arsenal player in the squad didn't there.
  12. Negociations seem to be ongoing, now to me that would say that one of the parties is playing hardball over some point or other. Perhaps it's the club on staff, perhaps it's Puel on Ben Arfa who can possibly know that isn't privvy to the details of the negociations. Puel is my experience gets his way on most things, if not he doesn't hang about in endless talks hoping that something will change. It should not be forgotten that he was all set to re-sign at Nice a month or so back, something displeased him there or attacted him elsewhere and he cut the parlies short in an instant.
  13. Because some people will bet on anything thinking that they're smarter than the whole wide world. Perhaps they actually are. Puel hasn't been confirmed yet for a reason.....and whilst that limbo remains odds will change and bookies will rub their hands.
  14. Valls said yesterday that there will be no TTIP.
  15. Why should we be, he isn't a Saints player is he?
  16. I fear that talking tough will no longer carry much weight with the voting populace. They seem to want doing tough. In other news the EU seems to be demanding an immediate activation of Article 50, just as I said yesterday, the "Go ahead punk, make my day" brigade are on the up just now.
  17. Although quite a few of them would seem rather underendowed in that department. I'm sure that Rooney, Sterling and Alli wouldn't make up one reasonably normal IQ between them. Then again they're not there to solve complex spatial puzzles and mathematical sequences and the like...or are they?
  18. No, the PIB of the State of California passed that of France a while back. So if we're now behind France we're technically the 7th PIB instead of the 5th before last Thursday.
  19. Can't think that we've not had Nigerians before now. Pretty sure we had a couple of Chinese blokes who never made the grade as well. Wasn't Reuben a Nigerian ?
  20. Rooney picked up the Icelander alright, trouble is he's 5ft 8 and can't jump any more and the opponent is 7ft 6 and can. Bloke probably wouldn't have got the headed knock down against Barkley or Milner.
  21. Well then Palarse need their collective head examined. Batshuayi is a prospect but is certainly not worth more than the 5 million or so that Liverpool paid Lille for Origi.
  22. Looks like he's got himself a real gem there then. The Icelandic woman has better tats than her player though.
  23. Not to Saints he isn't. Last I heard he's sitting by his phone waiting for a call from Emery to turn up and sign for PSG rather than Seville...who'll be the winner in that case.
  24. Never noticed that you'd emigrated before now, been a long time ?
  25. But I don't think Stekelenburg is a Saint's player any more. Doesn't he belong to Fulham, or did I miss a permanent signing of him at some time or other.
