So anyone on say 100K a week will only get 75K, then again I'm sure it's not quite as straightforward as that, the percentage cut is real though. Makes a fair bit of difference, live in a crappy part of the land, no CL and less money.

When you have to find 300 million euros for a stadium nothing is a "side track". Once the agreement was received in 2008 everything was for the Stadium. think there was about 180 million euros of public money and the rest was financed by the OL. Not an expert on that though.

Need money I expect. They got about 70 million from the Premier League last season but their stadium and marketing receipts aren't probably up to much. Did they not spend a packet on players between last summer and January ? Did they get fined for FFP contraventions in their Championship days?
