Sigh, only yesterday did he say that he wanted to stay at Sporting but he'd see what offers were about. There's one from PSG so what do you think our chances are exactly. What PSG want with him who knows, they have Maxwell and Digne.
-
You have a way of proving this I presume.

You need to take just one FACT into what you say. Koeman said that in his very first meeting with Reed he was told that Lambert,Lallana and Shaw would be sold. He was never given a chance on any of those 3. It's what he said, look it up on the OS. Now perhaps his English is lacking I've no idea but it's such a basic contradiction that it is a key to everything. On losing Rickie Lambert, Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana… The first meeting with Les Reed was open and clear. The information was clear about the squad, about the players and I knew at that moment [about] Lambert, Lallana, Shaw. I'll have a stab at it then; The sh*t hit the fan when we sold Lovren and Chamber in 24 hrs. Lovren..well we all knew about that,Chamber was the straw that sundered the proverbial camel in 2.
-
Gaston's agent said he is transfer listed...don't know how accurate that is though. Could be a throw back to June. As RK says he wants to keep all the players perhaps he'll stay.
-
probably didn't even have the power to do so, he was working out his notice or so i'm assured.
-
Even better for them then, still they're not run by idiots I suppose. We still don't know what happened to our 79 million from Sky though. Salary mass 52 milion, transfers paid from sales, where's the rest ?
-
Why is it a lot of money for them, they made 85 million from the PL alone last year, what's all that money for unless it's bettering your side. They paid him last season, not much change there then. Other than that I don't remember them signing anyone except Besic for a few million, to replace Barry perhaps. Still have a top side, and will do well. Wish we had that sort of stability, then again thet kept their manager.
-
Would have thought so, situation changed in 2 weeks, Pochettino was the keystone, take it away and everything collapses. If you're going might as well make as much out of it as you can.
-
Not to mention sponging up some of the deficits that the team and it's players have already created . Just gab, nothing more, nothing less. there was an article on Molina's twitter (I think) today pointing out that some other members of the WEF aren't very truthful, like Sarkozy and Iulytchenko .
-
Only because we had a player that we really needed to be shot of, Osvaldo being a sort of non player for us, situation could not be allowed to go on for much longer really.
-
I don't know, just saw him play a few times for Grenoble and the French Unders sides, since then he's gone native with Algeria. Stats aren't great but they're just that, stats. Wait and see really gift horse mouth looking into an all that.
-
Don't know about Inter, he was OK at Grenoble, not a world beater though. Anyway if it takes Osvaldo out of the equation it can't be bad. Thought we wanted to cash in on him though, Inter probably not having that and there are few other avenues possible.
-
think we need to wait until the opposition have some bearing on the way we play to decide what's what and who's where actually. the games so far are far too easy to judge anything at all. Which is why it was kind of good that we played sides like Sociedad and Besiktas last year.
-
so we should but I fear we will not be alone in solliciting his services.
-
Weren't Spurs interested in him at one time, they'd pay 8 even if it was only to p*ss us off.
-
at which sum he becomes more valuable to Villa than the price they'd get for him. Not many reasonable CBs out there just now and there are a lot of takers.
-
Why would there be an announcement today, rather than say yesterday or tomorrow. It's as plain as the nose on your face that we are haggling over the last halfpenny, probably on fees and salaries. Clubs will sell to us when they have no hope of getting more elsewhere, might be today or next week or next Christmas.
-
Indeed but that's not what he said, they've obviously discussed it with him before acting in those 2 cases but to say that he'd assessed the squad and decided 5 players could be sold just isn't in line with his declarations. Now me, I think he threw a stroppy when Chambers went and gave them (the board) an ultimatum, hence Krusty's press comments. At this moment in time, what 18 days before ouy first PL game of the season, the side is desperately short and players don't seem to be falling over themselves to correct that situation. Say Clyne gets injured, he's a bit prone to it at times, who plays RB then, another sprog from the academy, no manager worth his dime would accept going into a campaign like that.
-
If he even plays that is, wouldn't count on it.
-
Knocked them down a bit then, 30 was being bandied about this morning.
-
In fact I found a tribal football article linking us to him when MP was still manager, estimated a fee of about 5 million £ in that.
-
Perhaps but Feyenoord have lost a couple of players this summer already, normal that they sign a few replacements. Anyway if we sign Taider we don't need any more wide players, Tadic is wide man i think, or at least he was against Bournemouth.
-
Haven't we been linked to Taider before, couple of years back perhaps.

Except that Marcelle is normally a woman's name, feminine equivalent of Marcel really.
