Do you not read....Koeman in his interview about 2 weeks back stated that he was told in his first meeting with Reed that Lallana,Lambert and Shaw would be sold, he had no input whatsover in that. The he states that he wants to keep all of the remaining players but at the end of the day it's up to the board, this at the time when Lovren was the subject of conversation. It is quite clear that no matter what he wants the players have been sold.

IIRC we were desperate to get him signed so may well have accepted odd clauses for a young player. Anyway we got a shedload for a player who, let us say, isn't the highest up my "next planetary star player" list. I think he's weak defensively and rushes into bad balls when going forward. Now he'll probably be a handy player when he polishes that out of his game but it won't be tomorrow or next week, probably not even this season.

Of his opinions I know nothing, of the correction of what he states I've never seen anything to doubt him. Here he states some events which have occurred, why would he do that if they didn't. He never has before, in fact it's rare that he expresses an opinion at all. The fact that Romain Molina echos what he has said just tells me that it's 100% what has come to pass. The rest is opinion of course.
-
unsurprising, he signed his contract last summer after the occasion where Cortese considered leaving, lack of investment plans being given as the cause. A decent agent for a young player would probably preempt any change of road map in the clubs plans with a release clause for the player.

Around midday today Morgans agents were at St Mary's expecting to find out and discuss which bid had been accepted by the club for him. you can imagine his surprise at the statements made by our chairman a few hours later. He has been lied to by the club and promises that were made to him and have now been broken. IMO i still think he we go (has a club ever kept a player who didnt wish to stay?), and the worst possible thing Krueger could have said. Are we now gonna have a player go on strike? i personally think its best we let any who don't want to be here go. The club are scared after the fans reaction to the Chambers sale and are now trying to placate the fans by blocking Morgans promised transfer. post 455 of the tweet thread KBillyetc, never wrong, never queried.

Ah right, so in fact his not speaking with Spurs about transfers of Morgan and JRod is location selective. True I didn't bother to listen in, just read the reports on the interview. Still I suppose that having spoken to spurs about transfers of those 2 could just include nothing doing, given that someone was in fact telling us that MP agreed to a non-poaching for a year clause. However in that case why would it even need to be spoken about at all.
-
As long as the injury has been correctly repaired it will be of no handicap to him. Think he's progressed pretty well and is already back in light training.
-
Still think that the transfer fee that we got for him was a fantastic job by someone or other. He will prove to the watching world in the near future that he isn't worth it. Our boards best action to date, unless of course the fee was written into his contract as was suggested earlier on, in that case good job whoever did that.
-
at the end of the day if he was promised the move as long as someone came up with an acceptable sum of readies which may even have been defined in advance and then the rug was pulled out from under it because of the mass exodus then the player has every right to be miffed. If he can prove that it was a given that he could go then it may even come down to the law courts, proof would probably be hard to find though.
-
did he not say he hadn't spoken to them about transfers..
-
Ah right, no visas for headless bodies then, makes sense.

Know the reason why by any chance ?

Should never have come to this in the first place. If you tell a player that he can leave if the right offer is received (wasn't someone saying only the other day Morgan? it's the same price as Shaw, Koeman again was it, but anyway we've had no offers) and then suddenly Krusty the clown speaks out in public with a nulle prosequi forced on to the club by the sale of a young player no-one cares about anyway then shambles is the only word to describe the situation.
-
Well you pay a lot of money, that's how it works in football, you sell your better players when they ask to leave because you've p*ssed them off and you spend all of the money you receive for new players of an equal or better standard, that's how you become a top club. You do not faff about bidding 3.5 million £ for an England keeper or a couple of mill for a Dutch international centre back. You pay the price as you expect other clubs to do with the players you're selling them.
-
as a player perhaps, certainly not as a manager. OK in Holland, failure in various degrees elsewhere. Anyway it's nothing to do with Koeman really.
-
not a Python fan then Tim .

told you so...... well someone told me so and I told you and so on and so forth.

Bloke's a builder actually, doing some work on our roof. His son plays for Clermont though;
-
We have absolutely zero chance of signing Rojo, he's very much sought after and the price tag will be beyond our miserly approach. We've probably bid about 3 million or something like that for him.
-
BBC+ Sky is so insular don't you know. I know people who are really in football, they tell me things. When those who have been told spread what they've heard about Sky,BBC and the other vultures pick them up. This came from a Portuguese chap that I know. No doubt if you were to hunt it down you could find it elsewhere.

Well I didn't vote for her............

French jornalist Romain Molina says Liebherr wants to sell
Window Cleaner replied to Bewildered's topic in The Saints
Second chapter now available http://www.hat-trick.fr/eclaircissements-a-propos-de-southampton-et-schneiderlin/ I'm sure there'll be an English version later on, there was yesterday. -
And herself of course.
-
Apparently Rojo has spoken about his case. Says he wants to stay at Sporting but is willing to wait and see what offers they get. Sounds like a "if there are any big clubs in for me I'm game but the also rans can ferk right off" approach.
-
Probably just extra MMA training for the training ground fights that I'm assured happen everywhere all of the time. Obviously not at Saints though because we've only heard of one and Osvaldo got shipped out for that.
