Some of us could accept what's happening a bit more easily if they didn't keep dousing us in crap and mendacities. If the players are unwanted then just tell us so, if we need to sell, idem, if the club is soon to be sold then just say it, they'll be surprised how well it goes down, because as it stands they're duping virtually nobody and certainly not any buying or selling club..

Depends really, pit stop sets you back about 25-30 seconds I think, so at 2.5 seconds a lap faster you need 10 laps to make up the difference, then you have to get past your rivals which Alonso even with his totally dead ,33 lap soft tyres showed that it isn't as easy as all that.

Did we ever identify the agent and thus the player concerned..might even have been Chambers.

Half decent ? plenty would want to come here, but not those who are pursued actively by Utd and their former national coach.

Lille is an excellent finishing school for young footballers, now I don't know if all or even any of the rare talents that they've produced of late come from their "Centre de Formation" but they do churn good players out.

Some other solid performances as well today, slowed a bit now but we should still make 350+, not even our bowliers can cock that up right ?

Well as I might have hypothesised back in May the book value of the club had probably been overtaken by it's liabilities. By selling some of our crown jewels and replacing them with less expensive but in theory still substantial players wouldn't the value to debt ratio be re-established and still leave a saleable club with some sort of solid base. I still think that the club will be up for sale within the next 6 months or so once the debt purge has ended. It won't be a popular theory of course but I've read elsewhere that I am not the unique prophet of this outcome.
