Well he's finally got into overdrive again today, took a while but probably worth the wait.
-
Perhaps the "subject of ridicule" might be more appropriate....unless you're it's banker of course.
-
Did we not receive a bid for him in January ? I'm sure that we were told yesterday (or Friday) that we did, same club, similar sum by all accounts. So it's unlikely that he's just found out about anything. 2 options.....we wanted the money rather than the player or RK didn't want to keep him. Then again you can rule out option 2 by re-reading Koeman's interview 2 weeks or so back " I want to keep all of the players"... Never did find out if Gaston was really on the transfer list though. I said I am the new manager and I’d like to keep all the players, and Dejan is an important player in an important position. Nope, same old, same old WI jumble sale.
-
thought Lacazette was their preferred back up option...could be wrong, other clubs know that we're in shîte street for some reason or other and will keep picking us over until anything useful has gone and been replaced by a Dutchman.
-
Not strange logic at all, I expect them to win, can't see why they should lose.
-
Why should they lose if these blokes are so great ?
-
that's not really the point. Inter seem to be intent on test and try before you buy and we aren't interested in that at all seemingly. Thought it would be a good opportunity to shift him out as soon as possible myself. We aren't going to get major interest in the bloke you know..
-
so what, he doesn't control the sales, probably not even the prices. Probably doesn't even control the purchases either. He is not in charge of club policy, of that I'm sure, neither is Krusty the Clown, who does that leave then? I make it Hofstadter and the owner herself, unless of course you lend any importance to the CEO.
-
But hw do you know what he has done and what he hasn't done really. Perhaps he genuinely believes we were not going to sell players or had even received offers. Most of us know nothing whatsoever about how the organigram of the club is structured. Perhaps LR just gets to make the tea and fetch the papers and explain odd things to the press as best he can. Now Hofstadter what does he do, bet he's controlling the purse strings, seems to have been a big of a business big shot.

not so sure there, doubt if either Pelle or Tadic are on huge amounts, don't think the Dutch league pays very well so even mediocre PL salaries might be a considerable step up for them.
-
Still as Kolo has a German agent we might not mind so much.
-
Tbh if you're wanting to sign a LB from the Côte D'Azur then Kurzawa is the man you want, still Monaco are in the CL now so I guess we've no chance of that. The lad from Nice is a bit so so. Why didn't he sign at West Ham, can't remember what happened there, well apart from it being West Ham of course.
-
but if he had to choose between us and Everton where do you think he would go ?
-
Ah but in the last years accounts (thouse for the year ending June 2013) there was a manoeuvre to convert one type of account into another. Few have actually seen the detailed accounts but I remember one of our experts telling us that the manoeuvre would in fact allow equity to be offset or taken out or something like that. You'd have to find the actual posts to get the total jist of it though, too City wide boy for me i'm afraid.
-
Either thick or wishful thinking I expect; Combination of the 2 is a possibility I suppose.
-
What division of Liebherr would that be then. Really those who do not understand that KL is a niece/cousin of the "main branch" and absolutely nothing else really p*ss me off. We have nothing to do with the Crane selling, fridge making, dumper truck peddling branch of the family, nothing whatsoever.
-
Well if you believe the report in the express Koeman just seems to be bent on filling up with players from the Dutch league and other sundry Dutchmen. It's probably just 2+2=7 lazy journalism though.
-
Gnabry won't want to play for us and we wouldn't want Jenkinson, anyway they want to sell him, they've had some offers I think, from bottom grubbers mainly.
-
Probably yes, isn't it non_broadcasting revenue. Anyway on the subject of FFP ans salarial mass. What does anyone estimate to be the saving on annual salary of Pelle and Tadic compared to say Lambert and Lallana.
-
And whilst on the subject of that very "top level striker". I saw a report that we're meeting with Inter soon because they seem to want a loan deal with a purchase option but we favour an outright sale (who wouldn't) with which thay're not really in accord.

Jose Mourinho: Signing Luke Shaw would have "killed" Chelsea
Window Cleaner replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
I saw Mou's latest left back signing in a friendly the other day and if I was Mou well I'd be preparing my excuses for the occasion when it becomes evident that I'd signed a pile of crap as well. Still I presume Azpilicueta will still be first choice at LB again anyway. Talking of Chelsea LBs what's happening with Bertrand these days ? -
Why I even saw the club's historian (whether that's official or unofficial nowadays I couldn't say) beginning to wonder if those who've apparently hinted to him him that the club is being prepared for sale aren't right after all. Who those people might be I've no idea.
-
Is he in fact doing the same thing now though, that is the question. Now I may have a dodgy memory but to me Les Reed has never been particularly involved in first team affairs, development yes, sports science yes, but Pardew,Adkins and MP all reported directly to NC, Reed had no great power over them.

what's the point, anyway last call for dinner. Probably unbased anyway, sort it out with DD.
