The tour ended in 2 steps, when Froome fell off his bike 3 times in 2 days and then when Contador crashed out in the Vosges. Seeing all these great white hopes of french cycling in the top 5 is ridiculous, not to mention the 37 year old no hoper who'll probably end up second. Still Majka looks good for the future if he can improve his time trialling.
-
probably fancied a day at the seaside.

What good has the 60 million £ so far done? Not to mention the initial 35 million "war chest". think we're going for 100 million £ in sales myself, nice round figure, then again so was zero, what it should have been.

Liverpool v Saints starting lineup...
Window Cleaner replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
If only he could, however Morgan won't still be here and we don't have a dog's chance of signing Rojo. -
Except that we're playing one of the clubs who have done a bit of business already. Perhaps we should write that game off because we'll surely get stuffed and consider our season open at the second game.
-
I was merely going by what the manager said only last Monday, he was categoric on the subject. OF course I don't believe him or rather I could well believe that he doesn't actually know what's going on with some players. the club is using the mushroom system and the manager could just be on the periphery of that.
-
I was projecting into the future with Vlaar and Van Dijk or whatever he's called.
-
there was when we were in the same division for a season, they got all uppety and decided they were a serious local rival to us. Then we sort of crushed them at Dean Court and it died away a bit. We even started calling them Bompey for a while. Oh yes and they accused us of trying to filch their manager.
-
and yet we only seem to be signing Dutchmen or players from Holland. I make that about err 19 scouts who aren't pulling their weight. Mind you with some of the crap we've signed in the recent past perhaps it's just as well.
-
20 minutes or so more than usual then, he'll be pleased.
-
Think they've given up on Jenkinson and want a back-up for Debuchy. Heard they'd given up on Chambers though and were looking at an Italian. Still with the Arse you never know where they stand, they use a scatter gun technique and then see who they eventually ground. They also like to feign disinterest to see if that brings them any advantage in negociations.

Fonté couldn't really say, perhaps he's coming to the end of his useful shelf life with the club. Cork...obvious..his position is required for the "best player we've ever produced". Don"t want him keeping our England Unders players out of the team now do we. Reed is a man with a mission.
-
yep 12 year old or something from Torquay.
-
I believe he did say that yes, but investing in the team is a pretty broad statement, paying off old debt would be investing in the team wouldn't it? So far since the regime change we have sold for about 60 million £, there are probably another 41 at least to come. Doubt if we'll spend 101 million £ on players in this window. It would just go against the home produced grain.
-
He got sent off in a friendly a couple of weeks back, don't know if he played in the official match against Lesotho last week. Think he might have.
-
Zouma is a red card waiting to happen, can't tackle, terribly disciplined, a real knob, can't understand why they paid 10 million for him, he'll end up on loan at Vitesse or something.
-
that would be the firm bid that Koeman said we hadn't had of course.
-
Chelsea are very short at CB actually, Terry,Cahill, the totally useless Zouma and Ivanovic as a stand in. Still José said they'd done with buying players for the time being. Watched a bit of their game against an Austrian side yesterday evening and tbh their reserve side and a couple of first teamers looked p*ss poor. Still theyy have many absents still I suppose.
-
ha Bo, single handedly responsable for boosting sales of Ravel's Bolero to a staggering level.
-
We've put him on the transfer list ? What's with that then, bet we haven't.
-
Probably not, they don't usually loan out players that they want to keep. Ramsey is probably the only exception in recent times.
-
Still we sold the culprits for a shedload, that'll teach them to go upsetting yer average fan's cup final dream.
-
Ah now Jane Fonda, there you're talking.
-
Flashed a lot of tit though and that was quite a novelty in the 70s.

Because they often depend on release clauses. David Luis cost PSG 48.7 million euros, not 50 million £ I suspect Morgan has a release clause, couldn't stab at the amount though. It's very common with extra-UK players.
