  1. Bunch of taffeta dancers are they ?
  2. Best player our academy has ever produced dontcha know.
  3. What with all those fantastic academy products we have to people the side ? Might as well sell off all the old duffers who are full internationals on tidy salaries and replace them with academy products and unknowns from the Dutch league.
  4. Why would that be then?
  5. we shall see, 2 out of 3 would be good for Tottenham already, 1 out of 3 is almost certain.
  6. Well yes, it was already known yesterday that Allegri would get the job, pity the Ugly didn't know that and start spreading ridiculous speculation.
  7. Perhaps as it's just a preseason friendly you don't need "allocations" and what have yous. JUst turn up,pay and watch the game, as it should be.
  8. Oh FFS Hampshire get a grip, we've crumbled from 83/1 overnight to 120/5 and are now staring defeat in the face if we can't stop the rot. Defeat will leave us just 5 points above Surrey in the table and on a sh*tty roll of form.
  9. Rivière as well now I think, not a bad price,about 7.5 million £.
  10. In fact we should be glad in that case, we got a packet of cash for a duffer (yeah right). A packet of cash which we will no doubt get round to spending sooner or later. Actual count up until now, in 62 million, out 21 million, don't even need to think about the intitial warchest of 35 million which has been alluded to. It's a pity that if we're so good at selling duffers for shedloads of cash we still have Mayuka,Osvaldo and Sharp but to mention 3 hanging about drawing their monthly stipend.
  11. It's all just sour grapes anyway. wait until they stuff us on opening weekend, there will be even more bile and vitriol. At the end of the day you just have to accept that we didn't have enough ambition to keep the player. I noticed that Koeman said that he was told that Lambert,Shaw and Lallana would be sold before he had any say on it at all.
  12. In fact Conte left Juventus over a dispute concerning the recruitment budget. Happens everywhere apparently, managers and players want progress, if they aren't convinced that they can get it with one club then they'll look elsewhere.
  13. Allegri signs on this morning, hope it doesn't ruin your day too much though.
  14. If they worry about something as false as this then they must be stupider than even I think.Anti-anxiolitics all round necessary there.
  15. Not at all correct though, just made up crap. Allegri will take the job at Juve
  16. You're never alone as a bellend. To understand this you'd need to remember and old fag advert for a brand called Strand. (The cigarette of the moment)
  17. But ou didn't cost your employer 13 millions now did you. The cases aren't comparable, they could sack the player for misconduct but then they'd just wipe out his book value to the club UNLESS he has a contractual clause saying that he's responsable for X/Z iemes of his fee if he's a bad lad. No player would sign that and agents aren't ever responsable for anything at all. Mutu was a drug addict, it's completely different.
  18. It's on the OS, they lost 4-2 again today; a lot of lads I'd not heard of really but Cropper and Johns played in goal between them and there were Seager and Rowe of the slightly known lads.
  19. But once again it's just pie in the sky, all very interesting but never any real proof.
  20. There's always that possibility of course but there's also the possibility that the matter is merely in abeyance awaiting further developments.
  21. 3 weeks, back (in theory) for the 28th July...although according to a bloke down at StE this morning it is unlikely...we shall see.
  22. Well yes, think he'd been discussed here for a good month or so before the 28th June.
  23. Sometimes football journalists tend to talk of net salary when they're putting their guesstimates about. Don't know if that's the case with this bloke though.
  24. Indeed, 51% of you have voted for a player who won't be there next season. It doesn't matter what Reed or Koeman say, he's as good as gone.
