Not me but I did contribute to some software which picks up blatant plagiat (can't remember the English word for that) in academic works. It's basically to help Uni lecturers pick up giant chunks of scientific papers being used in Undergrad essays but it has other uses. I just don't like people lifting other's work that's all. The forum has rules and it would be a better place if we observed most of them most of the time. I also take the stance that if Nick wanted to share his opinions with us on this site then he'd take the time to do so. He doesn't, he operates his own outfit so we can at least be decent enough not to plagiarise it here. He has a right to keep his stuff on his site and for those interested in his opinions to go over there and seek them. Help his hit counters a bit as well.

Couldn't say, perhaps it was on Cortese's "to do" list and he took it with him. Who knows really. The upheaval at the club last January (or was it October) has left a lot of situations in abeyance, presumably someone will take care of it sooner or later. Was it not said (can't remember when or by whom) that those 2 players did have new contract offers but that they were withdrawn? Perhaps I'm getting that wrong but I've got an inkling that I'm not. The veracity of the original statement though, that I couldn't guarantee.

Contracts aren't a one way street, perhaps there have been preliminary discussions at some time or other and the proposed terms were neither right for the player or the club.

I just can't be bothered with pedants such as yourself. When the club tells me exactly how much we obtained from the Shaw deal and the exact conditions of payment then I can answer your question. I don't know the amount of every transfer of every teenager in world football, neither do you so just leave it out. Rooney was sold when a teenager for a figure reported to be in the region of 30 million £ many years ago, until someone shows me the exact figures for the 2 transfers then I'm in no position to judge. Neither is anyone else.

It's a free world, I have no particular confidence in those running the club just now and that affects my posting. I have seen plenty of no one is for sale and then there are sales. To me it's just all esbroufe and nothing that happens in the near future will surprise me. I just expect more of the same from the club, all smoke and mirrors.

Talking of kit ..I noticed that the sponsors on the rolling bar on the OS have been reduced from 7 to 4 now. I can see that Adidas have gone and the betting outfit,Veho have replaced AAP but who else is missing.

But none of them had to resort to Jos,Gazzaniga and Fox. They had weaknesses but not at the same level that we did.
