  1. In fact Worcs still owe us from the Championship they stole from us in err 74 probably, we had a wash out, they had a dodgy one innings last day slog and beat us by 2 points. I hope they remember this and atone.
  2. But then we could venture into an alternative analysis of Allo Maman Bobo by Alain Souchon and come to the conclusion that it's exactly what children call any form of injury or pain as I said.
  3. Although it's factually incorrect of course, Morgan was 18 and a half when he came here and I thought his nickname was Momo. That's what his Strasbourg team mates called him anyway. Bobo is what children call any sort of small injury or pain. Anyway if you fancy your chance with "La langue de Molière" it's in here somewhere. http://www.francebleu.fr/sports/tribune-100-ducrocq/tribuneducrocq-1 Starts at about 42 minutes I think
  4. thought the Dutch press were reporting it at a bit under 15 million euros last summer, they may be no more accurate than the Mirror or the Star though.
  5. Right, free transfer for a couple of bottle caps a week though. Rancunier and pingre is Wenger. Pingre outweighing rancunier I expect.
  6. Indeed, it will mean that barring an utter shambles from Hants at Cardiff (or is it Swansea) Essex will need to beat Worcs to bypass us even if we lose. We'd be 10 ahead, you'd have to assume we'll get a few bonus points be it just for bowling and maybe 1 for batting so they'll need at least 14 ,so need to win (or tie) in even the worst case scenario for Hants.
  7. I don't know the terms of the loan but Barça were desperate to be shot of him, doubt if they'd pay any of his salary at the Arse because that's a rival club but they might pay a bit part elsewhere just to be rid of him because he'd become an utter liability. Anyway apparently Wenger still believes in a miracle recovery for Diaby who must cost them a pretty penny for absolutely toss all.
  8. Wenger is what the french would call "rancunier" once you've gone, you've gone, there are no 2 way trips. Wenger could have bought any number of all those DMs he was linked with last summer, why didn't he? because they want too much money. Song earns a veritable fortune at Barca, he's off their pay scale at the Arse and Wenger won't have him back anyway.
  9. Because their defence doesn't have the sort of quality sentry(s) in front of it that he had with us last season, it has the old fart Gerrard, slower he gets further they move him back, he'll be challenging Mignolet for his place soon, especially with that arse up last night. Rogers has to give up on Gerrard soon and put Lucas Leiva back in his rightful place.
  10. If he can get a work permit for a loan move that is, not nailed on at all.
  11. Why would he want to do that, Song makes far more than he's worth, Arsenal don't do that sort of deal, unless it's for a German who'll sell shirts for them. Think the Arse might have a Utd 2013/14 season myself, very weak behind the first team, bought a striker who was sold by Utd because he didn't score enough goals and they probably found out exactly why that was last night.
  12. Didn't we pay 11.9 million for Tadic anyway, or was that just a baseless figure bandied about?
  13. Course he does, the UK is totally exceptional in work permit requirements, you even need to get a new one for every new club you go to. Like Koné last winter, got a WP for West Ham, didn't fancy them after all and then had to get a new one for Everton. Mane should have no problem though, he must be totally qualified and shouldn't need a tribunal hearing, just takes time, like every bit of paper coming from the UK government these days, waited nigh on 6 months for my passport last year.
  14. So all those without photos, they probably just tried to update those profiles with photos and ballsed it up temporarily.
  15. No lose situation for them really, the result to them is irrelevant, we might try for quick runs to force a result and get skittled again, doubt if we can win as we have to follow on, no way we're going to get enough to win by say, lunch tomorrow anyway. We'll try and bat for as long as possible and secure the draw.
  16. So 351 all out, got the 4th batting point, might have to follow on though, still a draw is quite likely.
  17. But Tadic had to go to Serbia to wait, even though he was playing in Holland. You could argue that our Embassy in Den Hague is probably bigger than our embassy in Belgrade (might even not be..cost cutting obligé) so why Accra and not Dakar or Lagos or Johannesburg still leaves a question. Where's that embassy laddy, billyfoot..he'll know.
  18. Perhaps, fair old trot from Senegal though. Not sure how it works really.
  19. Indeed, Sainsbury or Jesty type knock, just when we need it most.
  20. Why Accra, don't we have an embassy in Senegal....that would be Dakar I suppose.
  21. Not to mention Essex pressure, they did exactly what was needed to panic us by skittling Leics in half a day. Kind of bowling performance that we needed really. Perhaps we're not even ready to be promoted.
  22. So in fact Kent's bowlers got something out of a flat wicket whereas our chuckers couldn't. Seem to have heard that story all too often this season.
  23. Any serious rain forecast ? Think we might need it actually.
  24. Who knows, anyway with Kent now past 300 for the loss of only 3 it's turning into a disaster scenario, only bright point...raining at Leicester... long may it continue.. As Bobby Vee said it might as well rain until October (well September actually)
  25. Thought 2 maximum point (ie 13 each time) would be enough, could be wrong by a point though. Anyway Kent making a big score is the worst possible way to start these vital 2 games.
