that's not what I meant really, I presumed we had arranged suitable financement over say 5 years for the Staplewood project. Big hit to take out of a season's football income really. I certainly wouldn't condone the idea that we've had to actually sell players to pay for a bit of bricks and mortar. I mean you wouldn't sell the kids to pay for a lounge extension now would you.

Jay really doesn't have the same problem, he can't play just now and the time up until January will pass away quickly enough. He's also on a shorter contract. Jau

it's not the money, it's about his standing in the eyes of DD and the FFF.
-
[quote=Faz;2008178 He's staying now, for better or worse and will have to deal with it. bet he doesn't
-
worked for all of the other didn't it ?
-
He did talk to the club, today, was denied a move, this is his reaction. Written transfer request tomorrow no doubt, after that we'll see.
-
Hmmm told you that at the last reasonably credible account I had that he had no intention whatsoever of staying. Needed to get out before the sh*t hit the fan over Chambers.
-
Tail end Charlie I expect, we'll see how it pans out from here until nine one as Ralph would say.
-
so in theory they could be sold on the 1st September and he'd be off the hook. Anyway there is going to be a massive problem because Morgan wants to leave.
-
depends who said it,

Ridiculous, although PSG are high on the list of respectable suitors for Rojo. Digne will find plenty of takers elsewhere. Not really sure that I'd want him though, might be a bit green for the PL.
-
No chance of us getting at least 1 signing with proven PL experience then. They could at least make a little effort and get us Bertrand or something.
-
Normal really, he's just back after 12 weeks or so absence, Koeman wants to talk to him but I think his mind is made up, it was, don't see that it will have changed at all.
-
probably less than they've gained in shirt sponsorship for a single season. Our shirt sponsorship would probably buy a Bechuanaland youth international, theirs 4 top flight players.
-
have you actually seen TK play, he isn't that good. I doubt that Koeman would even want him, probably better for less in Holland. Don't know if TK played in the 5-1 humilition of Nice by Norwich yesterday but they are in desperate trouble, just about avoided relegation last season as well.

33 million was converted to equity when the Liebherr estate was still in probate, perhaps that was a sum that ML had earmarked for us. AS far as I know and I'm sure that those that follow the club account will confirm this all the rest (maybe about 60 million even if as Egg said she ploughed in another 28 million in April last) are loans and she obviously wants the money back. Other than that look at the thread I posted up, the wise men explain it there. Clapham Saint is a real illuminati on these things, whatever he says is 1000% gospel.
-
Of course she's loaned money to the company. 33 million was converted to equity about 3 years back, all the rest of the advances made by KL to St Marys Football Group or whatever is are loans, they can be taken back at will, she could even make the company borrow money from a bank or other lender and get her personal treasury reimboursed.
-
He'll deny everything and then tomorrow or the day after or the day after that some new fact will come to light which tends to suggest that he might have been economical with the truth yet again.
-
as far as I know, which is probably not enough, you can always take back sums that you've loaned to your company in the short term. You can even arrange it so that equity can be removed. Why did the company put out a solvency statemlent last year? Was it not explained to us at that time that it might even be a reduction in equity?. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?46032-Cashing-In-Reduction-In-Share-Captial#.U9eb0Pl_ukw post 4.....still about are you ben ? and 22..now Clapham..there was a guy who knew his stuff.
-
No but even that amount is now in theory available through a manoeuvre in last years accounts.

they are bit part players from the Dutch league, De Vrij is a major international player who has just reached the semis of the WC. There is also a dearth of top class defenders, wiry wingers and non-international brick khazi CFs are more common.
-
Forster perhaps but we will not get Rojo, he has possibilities everywhere and Sporting want a lot of money for him.

Two question that those crucifying the board need to answer

Don't think we're interested in their cast offs actually. Do not forget that Mr Academy is running the football side of the club now. He probably believes in the hype about England being entirely populated by Saints players in 5 years time or that we're the next Barcelona..
