I'm talking about a 3-1 home defeat on the evening of the 13th april 2012. I was furious because we gifted them the win, I understand Cortese was furax as well.
-
Been watching Norwich-Utd, Norwich looking very enterprising but just can't put any of the chances they're creating away and I wouldn't be surprised if Utd don't hit them on the break in the 2nd half and win 1-0, or get an iffy penalty.

no Hammond gave the ball away for the goal i'm thinking about and Davis missed a cross he should have cut out. Images implanted in my brain forever.

I think Morrison was suspended and they've let Petric go, that's their fault, nothing to do with an injury crisis. Nolan getting sent off and suspended for 3 games certainly didn't help them either. That's his problem, he never goes a season without at least one straight red, that means he misses important games just because he can't control his emotions. 5 yellows, you can accept because 19 games not to get them is difficult to handle in some positions and most teams get at couple of suspensions, evens out, but a straight red every season is just a sign of wanton behaviour that's never corrected.

EVERTON MATCH questionnaire for Love Everton Forum

Plus none of us ever have the delusion to think that anything posted on this forum (or any other for that matter) will ensure that our favourites will win any match. I'm sure half of the respondants didn't actually read the OP. I mean we didn't need to read the responses, most of us aren't interested in a combined Everton/Saints team, he should just have invited them onto his own forum to post whatever it was that they had to say. We have our own match threads. -
well 2 should be in theory mid-table teams bludgeoning each other and picking up shedloads of yellow cards can only help other poor teams to survive. They'll probably get a point each and that won't do either of them much good.
-
when they had a defence perhaps. Since Reid has been out they must be conceding about 3 a game.
-
depends where that is in the calendar with reference to City's CL games. The CL will be a priority for city this season as will winning the title again, they may sacrifice the C1C if the fixtures don't fall well.
-
and yet seemingly threatened with relegation which may or may not confirm itself. Unless you have a 300 million quid squad it's cup or risk non survival but not both.
-
Maynard I think you mean, don't think we were ever after him, some just thought we should be that's all. Anyway Sam's system is destructive to strikers so he needs a lot of them, especially as most of them aren't very good.

West Ham 1 up already, can't understand what West Brom's side is all about. Lugano is garbage and last season Yacob and Mulumbu was one of the League's nec plus ultra pairings along with Cork and Schneiderlin, why break it up and have one of them on the bench. Then there's the illusion caused by Lukaku, wherever he goes instantly looks a better side than they probably are.
-
why not then? I mean I don't know anything about the lady in question but you'd be surprised at the number of women who've been "prostitutes" in some way or other. Whether you'd sh@g them or not doesn't enter into the question, as long as someone would being ugly or fat or whatever isn't necessarily preclusive. Plenty of blokes do ugly women, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...allegedly and then there are those who just don't care; Now I remember a good friend of mine from way back, perhaps others will remember this story, he's well enough known in Hampshire football circles. Anyway he was pretty discerning in respect to women as a rule but once he got steamed up in Fridays and elected for a real scrubber, fat, ugly you name it she was it. Now he went off with her and we didn't see him for a couple of days, anyway on the bus down the Dell next match day there he was, telling all of the assembled public on the upper tier of the Number 14 what a great sh@g she was.

Adam Lallana pledges future to Southampton

correct, the have more than enough attacking midfielders. Adam wouldn't get much game time there, look at Kagawa. -

the cheek of it, coming onto our forum and facepalming a mod, Griffo was right. Plus I think the point of his questionnaire was that our people go onto their forum and post their replies to the questions and not just trot them out on this forum. -
Perhaps but the comparison isn't possible anyway. Wilde did what he could with the personal funds available to him, NC has far more money available and it doesn't come out of his own pocket. Now if Wilde had had the wherewithal to completely take over the club and not have to be content with a 25% share or whatever it was things might have been different, or not.. who knows.

hey all the replies have been deleted, big brother is obviously watching us. -
the point being that our squad was superior to theirs when they won the NPC championship, it's nothing to do with what happened subsequently. We lost the NPC because Hammond and KD were atrociously bad in the home game with them. 2 of Nigel's binkies.

well said Sir. Honestly we don't need little runts coming on here and gloating about 3 points that they're going to get even before the game starts. People who go onto other teams' forums are real nonces. -
McDermott is currently about a point above Adkins I think. Neither are setting the NPC on fire though.
-
by Reading and I think they somewhat regretted that decision and are now asking themselves if they may have done better to accept that relegation was inevitable and retain McDermott.
-
and still got relegated anyway. Not that you can put much of that down to him though, the rot had already set in. He did however (IIRC) waffle on about saving them from relegation.
-
don't think you can really compare Martin and Gazzaniga because the game is so radically different. In my opinion (and I know it's not widely held or poplular) very few players of the 60s,70s and 80s would be playing their football much above semi-pro level in current times. If that wasn't the case Chelsea would still be fielding sides with 11 UK nationals and not 10 foreigners and Terry. On an average PL game day you must have about what 1 in 4 UK nationals in starting XIs so where have the others gone? they've drifted down the ranks to lower levels.
-
Indeed, when you want success as a club you have to accept that you need really good players who don't get a game every week. We need a better squad already so moving Cork (or any other player who can come in when needed and do a good job) on wouldn't make much sense.
-
no it's not a case of dropping anyone, when Morgan was injured for the villa game JWP started with Wanyama, when asked about that afterwards Mauricio said that Jack was a good player (or words to that effect) but that he and Victor couldn't play in the same team. So to me that would mean that they're both limited to a single role and have little adaptability so it's one or the other but never both even when our other DM is out.
