so in fact last season somewhere or other we must have had a 40 and a 41 is that right ? Otherwise Puncheon couldn't be 42. Probably youth team players.
-
I personally think that Mayuka may have quite a bit of talent but that he needs to learn to exploit it against far better defenders than he's been used to before coming to the PL. For that he needs games but I'm not sure that he'll get them with us unless we progress in the Capital One Cup.
-
As it stands at this very moment and with no more ins or outs from the group of "with numbers" we would have to give up to 5 senior pros on our books numbers before the PL squad deadline, whenever that might be, probably at the end of the window. It is not allowed by the PL to have a squad of less than 25 if you have contracted players over the age of 21 on 1/1/13 without numbers. Last season Dickson had a number even though we had no intention whatsoever of using him in senior games.

well there's a surprise then
-
the zipper on Sticky Fingers actually scratched many of the discs.
-
what Hooper didn't score a shedload then
-
experience gleaned from fannying around with unrealistic predictions has probably made him extremely erudite in the matter.
-
might be a good time to start supporting them then.Perhaps they'll finish 17th and appoint Hoddle as manager when they sack Hughton.

there was a link but it was just bolloaks as usual. Not even coherent, why anyone would pay 15 million for a player with an 8 million release clause and a serious charge pending just makes no sense. Still I don't doubt that most rumours mongers have the IQ of a plank of wood and don't see the flaws in whatever it is that they make up to titilate their equally moronic chums.

Best has PL experience I think, something that Rhodes for all his goals can't claim as yet. NPC hotshots really aren't the mode any more.
-
why would Lukaku want to leave Chelsea, why would Chelsea want to loan him out or sell him. They'll have a 60 match season again, Ba is nothing special and Torres would return to Spain if he had a quarter of a chance. Lukaku will go nowhere this season so we'd be wasting our time. We need to look at good strikers in bad clubs, to me Sow would fit our bill down to the ground at 12 million or so the Turks will bite our arm off.i.

I saw Mayuka written up as the Zambian Moussa Sow somewhere or other the other day. Don't know what he'd done to deserve that, might have been a game against Libya, don't remember.
-
no, don't think any young British striker from the NPC has as yet signed for a PL club this window. Apart from those who've been promoted with their clubs none has yet made the step up. Zaha was about the last I think but that was in January. Evidently PL transfer committees are in no hurry to sign NPC players.
-
don't see him leaving Brazil this season at all now, they're what 11 games into their fixture list and the season seems to finish somewhere around the end of the year. I suppose they have some sort of play-offs after that, I'm not au-fait with their system. If he came here (or anywhere else in Europe) before January now he'd end up involved in a double season although I don't think he's played a lot for Internacional so far. As I see it his place in the Brazil line up for the WC is hanging by a thread as he's been dropped for the next game with Fred and Hulk in the driving seats. So he'll want to stay in Scolari's eye andthe best place to do that is probably in Brazil.
-
Apparently we're said to be looking at Moussa Sow, he was pretty handy at Lille. Wouldn't mind him at all.
-
I very much doubt if the club are prepared to simply let Sharp wander off, we paid good money for him and are no doubt looking for some sort of return Evidently we'll never see our 1.8 million again but we might get a million if we're patient. Still think that there must be some underlying cause or other to Sharp's exile last season, maybe he wants to play and we've nothing in view for him.

RNs best 4 frigates ever follow Ark Royal to the scrapheap

to be fair I'm not sure that he was being serious. I certainly hope not, don't want too many little Englander mentalities here, especially from those who don't even have to live in the dump. -
I think if you knew the contents of recent documents posted by DMWSL 613 at Companies House the situation would become clearer. There's "Authorised Allocation of Share Capital and Debentures" dating from March of this year and a document concerning capital from the 8th of July. No point me looking at them they'd be mumbo jumbo to me but I don't doubt that the answer lies there within.
-
well seemingly so because it's all registered at Companies House. No-one has any detail though or is keeping extremely quiet about the amounts involved. However all of these statements refer to Southampton FC Ltd, don't know what's happening with the parent company DMSWL 613.

Who is to blame for the Summer of inactivity?
Window Cleaner replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
those expecting far more transfers than we were ever likely to make. Told you all, 2 maybe 3 in and a few out, total budget around +30 million. We will sign 1 more player and that's that. Probably a striker for around 10/12 million. We won't sign Damiao it was never ever going to happen because we aren't in any form of continental challenge cup. -
used twice on 2 different threads as well I think. Must have been in last week's Beezer or Topper
-
match abandonned after a bit of rain, Hants were in no danger so I guess everybody agreed to call it a day. Poor season ? Very much as predicted. We willl get nowhere in 4 day cricket until we get at least 1 decent paceman (or a demon spinner). Then again I told you that at the very start of the season. What happened to that Bailey bloke ? was he just junk ?

there you go you forgot the rollyeyes. -
share capital of only 501K £ that doesn't sound right. Must be though. Perhaps the holding company has all the equity capital.

Worst case scenario planning: If SRL suffers a serious injury.
Window Cleaner replied to Giordano's topic in The Saints
Probably, don't remember, didn't see a lot of last pre-season, seen 3 games this time round. I know Adkins dropped him for the openning game though, that seemed to spark him into life when he came on against Citeh. Got the impression that SRL needs a bit of a kick up the ass from time to time.
