  1. Honestly I don't think he did himself a lot of good at Forest last year so sticking with his 18K a week or whatever it is might not be a bad idea.
  2. works with Eric then ? Perhaps he is Eric although he's from oop north somewhere. I thought you dropped out after a year or did you go back and finish ? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?33823-Dropping-Out/page2&highlight=anthropology#.UjMiv9KpWSp
  3. but that they're not getting anywhere fast,
  4. So then where do the Jets go from here ? Sanchez is PUP and Geno Smith is crap, do they have a 3rd option or are they heading for another negative season. Serves them right, Tebow was better than Smith and that's saying something.
  5. You certainly told him not to jack it in at the time to be sure, as did others, can't remember if I proferred advice at all but would have certainly been extremely sceptic at the idea of Bournemouth having a University worthy of the name, it's a tech college as are many others that mascarade as Universities nowadays. There are always rough patches in your time at Uni for varying reasons, lack of money being the principal one in my case but you just have to gut it out because if you don't you'll probably quit just about any other role you'll have in life every time the going gets a bit tough.
  6. you know that, I know that but Glasgow just won't let it go. Serves me right for argueing with a troll I guess, still day off today and it's raining.
  7. if we were going to drop Morgan we might as well have taken the cash from Sociedad or the Arse. Plenty of it on offer and I'm not sure that he wouldn't have minded going to the Arse. Sociedad are in the CL group stage as well so that might have been an enviable move on hindsight if the bench becomes a serious option for him this season. Anyway don't think it will happen because he wasn't 100% for the last 2 games anyway and was probably peturbed by the late Arsenal offer, might even have wanted it.
  8. I assumed that the smaller one that he's pointing to was supposed to be the ball, wrong assumption perhaps. Surprised that there's not a fag in sight though.
  9. Taffs will do anything to get recruits for the Valley Choir
  10. Anyway the bloke who lost it will be in the crapper, probably get the DCM
  11. http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/frankie-hunter/52/155/972
  12. Aka Frankie Hunter Bsc Hons, Hull University graduate and former coach of the U15s at Hull City Ladies
  13. must have expected a couple of sendings off, if you count that there must be a counter behind the coach's foot there are only 20 counters on the pitch.
  14. related to Martin Hunter ?
  15. Any chance of you wiring it to me in advance, just to be sure like?
  16. Probably because I grew up in the Ron Davies era and it irks me to see a troll such as yourself trying to make out that a jumped up second division goleador is a better striker just because he got a few easy pre-season goals.
  17. How many has Lambert scored or Ron Davies or Mick Channon or Derek Reeves, you don't know, I don't know but if any of our historians could tell us it would elucidate the affair.
  18. no he isn't because we cannot possibly know how many pre-season goals all our other "prolific" strikers scored.
  19. the jist of the affair is that it was a woman so unless Fran's been on the tablets.............
  20. Try looking at Wiggle, got a lot of top class gear at reasonable prices. I got some Aeron pro shorts from them a couple of years back, suit my modest needs but I only ride once a week or so.
  21. noticed he didn't answer my question about that, he's probably counting 5 in a game against Eastleigh or something. Records show that in official games Billy Sharp scored (but he didn't really because one was a Trippier OG) 10 goals in 18 games. His average isn't bad though but Ron Davies is shown to have scored 134 in 240 official games and is probably the club's most prolific scorer with a goals/game ratio of 0.558 compared to Sharp's 0.555 even if you give him the own goal..
  22. probably offside though
  23. no he didn't he scored 10 and one of those was an own goal by Trippier. Where does 15 come from ?
  24. And if you should fall, remember you almost had it all.... Elkie Brooks, still it's the Uni system's fault really, they accept people who are just not academic into their sorcerer's illusion. Make's them waste years of their life and then end up in any employment they can find.
  25. where do these goal figues come from then, I mean you're not counting pre-season games or something like that are you? Cos when you're going into "most prolific striker" you have to look at people like Derek Reeves (145 in 270 or so games)
