There are always rough patches in your time at Uni for varying reasons, lack of money being the principal one in my case but you just have to gut it out because if you don't you'll probably quit just about any other role you'll have in life every time the going gets a bit tough.

His average isn't bad though but Ron Davies is shown to have scored 134 in 240 official games and is probably the club's most prolific scorer with a goals/game ratio of 0.558 compared to Sharp's 0.555 even if you give him the own goal..

where do these goal figues come from then, I mean you're not counting pre-season games or something like that are you? Cos when you're going into "most prolific striker" you have to look at people like Derek Reeves (145 in 270 or so games)
