Well that was puerile then wasn't it. Like they care.

We have had some **** deflections over the past few weeks costing us goals.. Wish i'd said that skints, oh wait I did. Forum bug.

And don't forget he also scored a goal! Can't really blame him for that deflection. He put in some pretty good interventions in our own area.

No doubt, we do seem to spend a lot of money on shiny new objects which are of no more use than the rusty old objects we have in the cupboard under the stairs.

Thing is, we seem to be perpetually clearing players out and getting new players in. Results don't seem to get any much better though. We spent what, about 80 million last summer, 100 million if you factor in Ings. Are we any better than this time last year? It's doubtful really. Puel got better results with lesser players.

He'd be right at the bottom of their list. Doucouré is at the top with Gueye. About 5 pages later Lemina might be there with cheap and a question mark!!

Optimistic. Chelsea won't be at 9 and a half men like City were today. Watched them against the abysmal Palace, just an afternoon off for them.

Why so ? They win their games and I'd doubt that City's performance today would trouble them overmuch anyway. City still have no left back whatever side we put out today.

But what we realy need to do is aquire players who are of some utility to us and stop buying players who are no better than we already have. We signed players who cost us about what 70 million or so last summer and we're still no better than we already were.

Why would not knowing the name of the partner (or Gran or whatever) of a bloke who doesn't ever seem to play in the first team be a reason for pîssing off a player of the standard of Cedric then. I really just don't get some of these antics by managers who've been in the place less than 5 minutes. In Saint's current predicament we need to get our best 11 players onto the pitch whenever possible. If he's fit Cedric needs to play aganst City and Chelsea, never mind whether he knows anything about the lesser members of the squad or not.

Ings wasn't really doing much anyway. Why save him for City when you'd think we'd have a much better chance of a positive result against West Ham? City won't lose 3 in a row.

Well sounds like a really, really good reason to deprive the team of a good player. Sort of managerial tomfoolery that gets you results like last night's. Still banning all phones during training hours is laudable.

Rabiot doesn't play a lot in important games. Don't know why they'd need to replace him. Think you can put this one down as paper bolloaks.

Well without a sufficient majority in Parliament anyway. Probably why May tried to get a decent one and sort of failed. If she had say a majority of 50 or so the whole process would have been different and the EU would have had less leverage.

Well tbh Saints sacking their manager is pretty routine these days.

Saudi Arabia's defence budget is higher than either that of France or of German by some way. France's total defence budget runs at about 55 billion dollars, and a fair old chunk of that is attributed to it's far flung colonies, Germany about 10 billion less than that. Italy comes next I think with about 22 million. So a total for the "big 3" of some 125 billion dollars. The rest are fairly inconsequent . Compared to the US at 610 billion or so they've a lot of money to find to have anything vaguely comparable.

I'd not worry about it at all. Wait until they start argueing about who's going to pay for it.

From what I remember he was no great shakes at Nantes. Then again that's a pretty rubbishy side these days. They still live in the past from their glory days of the 80s when money didn't count for much in football.
