according to something I read Nainggolan is on about 700K€ a year, in £ sterling that's about a measly 11 K a week. Wouldn'"t like to think how little a crap player earns in Italy. No wonder they're all falling over themselves to get to the PL.

If we had "breaks" every 5 minutes filled with adds for cars,frozen peas and dog food the PL could pay a fortune. Never seen such a boring sport as baseball anyway, they only hit the ball about once out of every 20 throws.

but they had the revenues to pay that and with parachute payments they would still have had. They also probably paid some handsome bonuses for regaining the PL.

26.1 million £ in salaries for an NPC team is astronomical though. Take away the riff-raff and it means that all of our high profile players were probably on at least 20K a week

there you go, no point looking at out of date figures. NPC revenue has nothing to do with the PL, that's why we're so out of sync.

If the decision has been reached to sign any of our players they could have contracts until the year 3000 and it wouldn't make an iota of difference, you know like AOC. Now with the financial fair play system teams will look for value for money and I think we have plenty of that. We know absolutely nothing about player's contracts, for all we know they could all have release threshold clauses.

In fact Fox seems to have a wholly negative influence on our play. More pressure on Jos, Morgan has to drop deep and wide half of the time to at least shepherd wide players into Fox's path cos he doesn't get close enough etc etc etc. That's why we absolutely need a new left back for next season, Shaw seems fragile and probably can only be expected to play about half of the games as yet.

In my view Gaston still lacks fitness both mental and physical to last any more than 55/60 minutes as of yet. Other than that he could be clapped out for this season, played in the Olympics and has been shuttling back and forth for internationals. I suppose he's on about 35/36 games since the start of last summer already.

tbh we have absolutely no idea what Forren's real level actually is. He obviously wasn't MP Saints fit and is working on that. Mayuka seems to be the same sort of thing. That's the trouble with players coming from Micky leagues, they can be as good as you like but if they aren't fit enough to withstand the intensity, both physical and mental, of the EPL they'll look rubbish.
