Spurs couldn't beat Bale and they aren't that good. Think the season is too long for Spurs, expect them to finish 5th. We could well assist in making that happen.
-
I think we have to accept that as we progress up the echelons there will be some rotation. Rooney doesn't play every week, Torres and Ba seem to alternate. Anyway it's just a bit of a whimsical idea of mine, Torres will return to Spain this summer I think, unless of course Rafa gets a "big job" elsewhere.

I have been, known to chide for the use of "defense" from time to time. Usually by explaining that they wouldn't write "fense" so why defense. But as the french word is in fact defense it usually doesn't register nowadays. -
they might get a draw, still think Villa have it all to do myself. Awful fixtures, 3 relegation scrappers, United and Chelsea plus an awful GD. Just can't see them getting out of trouble with their sawtoothed form.
-
wrapped up ? 2 losses and Chelsea could be on their heels and Arsenal ahead of them albeit wiuth more games played. Can't see them coasting at all. It's going to be tight for 2nd 3rd and 4th cos there are 4 candidates for 3 places.

Ahh an Epsilon...got it. -
Always been the target for survival as far as I'm concerned, now we need to get as high as possible because at some 750K a place the difference between 17th and 11th buys you a handy player.

perhaps he's a fair play afficionado and was outraged because Vaughan was clearly offside. Awful reffing, penalties refused by the score, offside goal given, good goal disallowed for offside.yellow cards instead of straight reds, clueless all of them.
-
but you need to take GD and remaining fixtures into account. 38 points and a respectable GD is enough. Not all of the teams below us on or potentially on 34 points will get 5 more than us. We're just playing for the place money now.

Thought we needed a bit more sharpness in the last 20 yards today. We would have had that if JRod had been fit to start. Not great games from Lallana and Lambert today. Still pleased enough with the draw. -

Yellow card amnesty for 10 cards is tomorrow so with 9 Morgan doesn't get a ban. Now moves on to 15 before the end of the season so none of our players can now get suspended for accumulation of yellow cards. -
Any chance of play today ?
-
no Jos deserves his place, Fonte isn't comfortable on the left and neither is Maya. Jos has had some right good games of late.
-
gave that up yonks ago, lucky for me that we're either on telly or streamed, couldn't stand Merrington

Anyone got a spare for West Ham tomorrow please.

ah well you can't choose your family I suppose, in laws now that's something different. -
you might get a voucher for 50p off any Eterna model of your choosing with a minimum value of £2000

don't forget that shoot or chute are always there to get you out of a sticky situation if you think quickly enough. Crap is also universally acceptable and bugger is current in most infants school playgrounds along with many other naughty naughty words.

I don't know, seems to be a bit more featured in the build up videos this week.

well yes, I was one of the "45" and one of the few not wringing my hands and tearing my hair out.

didn't rate him that's why...not in the PL anyway. To me we should have changed him after the first few PL games. Always out of his depth.
-
he works you like a dog, sometimes you want to kill him, and to think Nigel was always telling us how hard the players worked. Excellent point about JRod as well, must admit until Pochettino I couldn't see why we paid so much for him. Nigel cramped his style obviously, same as the two number 6s.
