  1. we shoot but we don't score. Lambert's 2 free-kicks were outside the box though. Thought we did a lot of good work yesterday, created a few good chances but the general knackardess of JRod and Rickie meant that they were never likely to get on the end of any of it. Great free kick again from Rickie though, turned onto the post by Lloris, Guly should have buried the rebound.
  2. no, isn't in our 25 man group for the PL
  3. ball was moving about all over the place, seen it from behind the goal.
  4. Until we get a really adept striker we're going to struggle from time to time. We've had nothing at the sharp end since the Reading game.
  5. must not lose would be good I think.
  6. well as Canal + have insisted on showing us the goal about 500 times I thought Shaw could have taken him down, probably have got a red of course and left us without a recognised LB, other than that Cork could have come forward and taken him down. Not very sporting of course but we'd probably have got a point in that way. Not sure that Morgan wouldn't have taken one for the team in those circumstances.
  7. Lallana created a couple of good chances unfortunately he had to try to finish them himself and he always chokes in front of goal. Just can't see what his problem is there.
  8. Thought we played well enough today but of course it's a bad result. Sort of game Gaston could have had a big influence on because there was a lot of loose ball around their box.
  9. made Trump look like a beginner though. He'll be back at Sheffield next year, taking the p*ss as usual.
  10. because according to an article at the time Forren wanted to be sure that the manager (Pochettino) wanted him to sign.
  11. soliciting money for votes is certainly illegal Bearsy, however when it's known as lobbying it's proper kosher.
  12. neither have we
  13. and exactly why would we have a below par team then ?
  14. so we keep our money and play the kid brother.
  15. If Shaw is playing the risks will be greatly reduced. If Corky stays on, they'll be reduced even further. Last week was a bit of a confluence of circumstances. Jos is too exposed with Fox on his side.
  16. it's a hypothetical case anyway. We haven't won the place that we're definitely going to turn down as yet. We shall see what happens if we actually qualify.
  17. Morgan will sort Bale out, he will be invisible. Having said that Corky needs to keep his calm a bit better this week, let others do the dirty work, they're far better and more accomplished at it than he is. However Morgan won't be coming off injury this week so perhaps Corky won't get delegated for the dodgy last ditch tackles.
  18. why do you think that then ? there's no earthly reason for us to get "smashed" by anyone. We might lose but we won't get smashed. Spurs are on the decline because they've over-extended their capacities.
  19. guaranteed for a million kilometers ?
  20. wasn't the transfer committee who decided we didn't need a new front line keeper last summer. Adkins was supported on that...unfortunately for us.
  21. what is it with Richardson that makes him such a popular choice, he's hardly played this season, doesn't appear in recent training galleries, wasn't on the bench last week and has been by passed when we've had full back injuries before. Richardson is history as far as Saints are concerned.
  22. probably because it says to do so in "The Art of War" Completely obsessed by it was Adkins.
  23. Quantum Leap...few will remember that.
  24. Ah Hoeness, bloke with an undeclared( until it was discovered) Swiss bank account. 2 million is certainly nothing to him.
  25. read Saintsweb and saw he was out for the season so he got his 18-30s holiday gear out. Beard's gone today though.
