Why should you not expect them to be suspended. Any player on 4 cards and a sort of "local derby" is a prime candidate for a card and thus a suspension. In my view we don't get enough cards, not that we should actively seek them out but we seem to do too much to avoid them. Don't like that.

Something I thought i'd just mention here. Yesterday on my TV view Adkins seemed to be taking advice from Wilkins a few times. I don't like that because I think Wilkins is the epitomy of uselessness. Adkins should rely on his own judgement.

Davis didn't spill it, he just failed to cut out an easy (looking) cross because he didn't read the trajectory correctly and was short. This is his problem, reading ball trajectories and velocities. He's probably so used to the old balls that no matter how he tries he can't get to grips with these new types.He just got a hand sort of half on it but not enough to cut it out or turn it away. Gazza might have got there, him being bigger and quicker to drop down, he'd have probably have f*cked up on something else though.

I looked at the FA disciplinary lists.Shawcross and Cameron were on the 4 card list but obviously the FA hadn't had yesterday's match report by then,so in theory they're both on 5 and out on Saturday

Hit hard, rising, unless Schwarzer got something on top of the ball it would probably go in somehow. These balls are light and easily deflected, take a lot of stopping though when hit that hard from close range. With the old balls keepers used to catch them most of the time, with these new ones keepers tend to punch them sideways whenever in doubt. Saw Mignolet doing it all the time, never in front, always to the side.

no,no,no and no. Yoshida doesn't struggle in the air and Jos isn't premier league standard on what we've seen so far. Yoshida was amongst our best players yesterday.

Boruc is probably on very little money (relatively) and is happy enough to train with our group and be in a better condition to get himself a good contract in January.
