  1. nothing mysterious about it, he's at training and doesn't play in matches.
  2. he'll just have to hope that we play them in one of the few weeks when he isn't either suspended or has ducked off to avoid the press because he's done something stupid.
  3. Nah, after 2 TV defeats we must be due a TV win.
  4. they probably use some sort of error margin at which they stop online sales for a while. The capacity of SMS seems to be variable, Reading was "sold out" with a crowd of 31892,for West Ham it was 32150 or something like that. If they've got a line up outside SMS waiting to buy tickets it's sort of understandable that they stop onlines when they're down to the last 1000 or so. It's just a theory.
  5. But who said it was sold out, don't they usually put that up on the OS when it happens ?
  6. nope they've even cut that down this time. Thursday and Friday and then the following Tues/Weds. All for the tossy Euro 2012
  7. what difference does that make to my personal opinion ?
  8. I don't even believe that Lambert is the best player in the Championship at this moment, I'd go for either Vaz Te or Roberts. Signing Vaz Te is probably one of the best things BFS has done at West Ham
  9. Think we might see Morgan before that, Boro probably but Tad is probably out until next season given the nature of his injury. The play offs are just a few days after the last regular match so won't be much difference timewise.
  10. W/L statistics tell you otherwise but that's not necessarily Martin's fault. If you want to play Martin you need a left sided CB with him and then there's the constructive play role that he hasn't really mastered yet. I'd still like to see what we could do with Martin and Jos at the back and Fonte playing in front of them,Morgan on the left, Cork on the right and Lallana behind the 2 strikers...Tad and Rickie for preference.
  11. Of course, gives him an extra out ball and can't fail to take a bit of pressure off of him. Don't like the role Fox plays at all, get's far enough forward to embarass his defence often enough but not far enough forward to really make his balls into the box a permanent danger. That can only be how the manager plans it though. It would seem to me that Fox's half chalk/half cheese role must be really easy for the opposition to detect and negate whereas when a wide player really gets forward we are pretty unstoppable. As when Tad goes down that side or Morgan in the build up for the first goal against Millwall. The players must have all the ability they need to do it at this level, can only be the fact that it's planned not to happen that way that stops it happening more often.
  12. It's Jaidi's last year, we know that.Afterwards I think he's going to take up some other role within the club.As for Seaborne and Harding it's going to depend on their contracts.Harding's might be up at the end of this season but for Seaborne I just don't know. We seem to have some contracts with automatic renewal clauses if the players plays more than X games in the season. We'll need at least 2 new full backs and at least 1 CB though although I'd go for at least 2 there as well.
  13. Reading lose at home to forest, my my that's a bold predicition, then again Galileo always said the earth wasn't square.
  14. Don't know, salaries have gone up as well and the squad has become significantly bigger. We had a lot of biggish crowds last year as well. It's not a couple of thou on the average home gate that's going to balance with the increase in salarial mass.
  15. Not really, before their game at Brighton it was common knowledge that Tabb,Leigertwood and Hal RK were out,not to mention Karacan who was known to be having a nose job that day.You wouldn't find a Saints player driving round the town after the team bus had gone or tweeting that he was definitely out,as was Reading's case.
  16. Morgan is by far faster than Cork and much stronger nowadays.Cork gets brushed off a bit easily sometimes. Also gets into the right position more often than not, still not the complete finished article but then again he is the "baby" of the side.Doubt if we'll hang on to him if we don't go up,although he desperately wants to stay with us but in the PL.
  17. Well we certainly needed him against Barnsley, got our 2 goals that day. Still think he's another of these players who just need a couple of better players around him to really move up another gear. He's often a bit isolated and just gets dragged down by the number of opposition players around him.
  18. think he's been struggling with a broken toe for a while now, just like Fonte was around Christmas before eventually missing a few games. I see that Zakuani went off early in the second half yesterday. Trouble with Posh is that they have a few of those dangerous occasionally players that are a bit unpredictable like Boyd and Tomlin.
  19. nope Adkins is right there in the original list.
  20. You've forgotten that the bonanza bucket of Liebherr cash must be getting a bit stretched by now. At the end of this season I expect the "equity" will have to be boosted by another 10/12 million to about 45 million, plus whatever all the work at Staplewood is going to cost us.We need to go up at the soonest because we'll run out of cash(well available credit) if we don't.
  21. established to be a "bit high maintainence" in about Season 6. Well Monica that is,can't remember the rest; Phoebe was flaky and Rachel a pushover is that it?
  22. Is that so,the real culprits have gotten off lightly then, Hammond,Fox and to some extent Davis, still think he should have done better on the first goal. You could also throw in Chaplow for getting a bit of an idiotic card and being pretty crap in general.
  23. You just don't see the value of this player do you. It's what make Saint's tick because he has the ability to create time and space. If we don't go up I'll be content for him when he moves on.Saint's most sought after player according to someone who knows him.Not that most of you will believe that of course.
  24. The only thing that makes me have any doubt about winning at Peterborough is that they suddenly turned up the wick and beat Reading 3-1,in fact they're the only side to beat Reading since about the 4th century BC.Perhaps they just caught them on a bad day.
  25. general confusion, seemed to think Kelvin should gobble it up and there wasn't much danger. Commentators thought it was a keeper's ball, mind you perhaps they didn't mean a Kelvin type on your line keeper. Suppose they do a lot of Prem work where that would have been gobbled up by 80% of them.
