  1. How could we possibly know that, he's played just the once on a evening when none of the side were very good and that's a euphemism.
  2. totally unsurprising, keepers dive down and not up for penalties. If the ball is about about 1m/1m30 when it gets to them they have a miniscule chance of stopping it. If you hit it low you either have to go to the side that the keeper doesn't or just inside the post.Providing he'd chosen the right side Gilks would have had Dobbie's penalty as well although it was far closer to the post than Billy's. Anyway if we get a penalty on Saturday and Rickie's not on the field please please don't let Sharp take it.
  3. I looked up about 7 or 8 YouTubes of Billy Sharp penalties, think 6 out of 8 (or 7) went to exactly the same place as the one on Saturday.Gilks had him sussed, never mind looking at the ref or not.Goalies do their homework as well you know. Now Rickie blasts them all over the shop, most of them would take the keeper with them if he got to it.
  4. Thanks. I'll look it up later and see what they're proposing. For the time being Canal+ is pretty decent though but with the full packages and the satellite package it comes to well over 75£ a month, it's not something that everyone can afford. Al Jazeera are doing whatever it is they're going to do at 11 euros a month apparently but whether that's just for the football I couldn't say. Don't watch French football on TV anyway, team scarf knitting would be more exciting.
  5. At the end of the day Saints are at their best on Saturdays at 3 pm, don't know why but there it is.
  6. If we don't go up this season SMS will be one of the most miserable places on earth to be this summer.
  7. nothing for us specifically, you'll have to try to catch the AlJism stream suppose. L'Equipe is a really crap match simply because it's at 4 o clock CET.Can't remember what it is Bristol City-Forest or something like that anyway. Al Jism sport is going to start broadcasting here in June in preparation for their Ligue 1 matches next season. Don't know how they're going about it though, cable and broadband perhaps. All very well if you live in the cities but in ras-campagne where the debit is 8 MO max you miss out as usual. Still be better for us next season with Canal showing about 5/6 PL matches every week.Might be on one week in 2.
  8. Only if she's hot with big norks and does sex on the sofa with others watching, you've already got enough stray women.
  9. What like the 20+ that we've got from Lallana and Guly you mean? These are midfielders in fact I think I might say that Guly scored more goals when we had Lambert and Connolly in attack and he was in midfield than he has since he's been partnering Lambert more often than not.
  10. That's just the thing, we never know who's fit and who isn't.Richardson ? who knows, last time we had any definite news Nigel said we were just "recovering him a bit".Since then zilch, same as i don't think there's been any official word from the club concerning Lee. All we know is that before the Hull (or was it Millwall) game Nigel said we had quite a few players playing on with knocks and niggles but that we have an excellent medical staff.
  11. Indeed 1-800 HITMEN is looking better by the minute now isn't it. Anyway if all else fails you could always buy her a torch that cooks marshmallows for her birthday, no woman would want to stay on with anyone that zarb.
  12. A long time. When I was at ******** a government research place one of the lads got married. We took the nuts off of the rocker box bolts on his car,put a kipper on it and then put the nuts back on.After a few miles towards his honeymoon location the whole car was invaded with an abominable stench (or so they said). Took years of scrubbing and valletting to get it out of the carpets and seats and stuff. NB what about getting a couple of rats in,that might do the trick.
  13. Well then I think you're just about down to 1-800 Hitmen as the only option..
  14. Nah but seriously though this actually sort of happened to me back in the late 70s.I had real trouble getting rid of my live-in.Had to go for the really risky exit tactic, suggest getting married, let her arrange everything and then pull out a couple of weeks before....worked a treat, gone in a flash, looked a bit sheepish in front of my family and friends though...but I got over it with the help of a couple of Easy Dorises. Hope she's not reading this though..probably not, lives in Bournemouth and doesn't like football.
  15. Just leave her there then, that should p*ss her off a fair bit, forget your wallet as well, she'll have to pay all week-end.It's just a case of trial and error, see how far you can go before she ups sticks and leaves.
  16. Easy one, get someone else in and start sh@gging her on the sofa whilst the other one is watching Eastenders on TV. Been there, done that. At worst you'll get a real 3 way.
  17. They also didn't obtain him on loan because he wouldn't want to go there. Players have to agree to loans you know, probably why Barney has been hanging around doing very little all season.
  18. Bet Blackpool knew Rickie was out a couple of minutes after he broke down in training.
  19. if SDR had Lee's intelligence he might be an alternative but nothing that he's done so far convinces me that he's got a footballing brain of any sort.
  20. Well I'm sure that his Master's guide tutor will tell him that if it's the case.Seems a bit simplistic.
  21. From reading the reports on the West Ham-Reading game I see that Karacan went off after 55 minutes and was replaced by Jay Tabb who himself was subbed only 10 minutes or so later. Would those be injuries? anyone know enough about Reading to know that? If that's the case that would be 2/3 of their engine room gone wouldn't it.
  22. Trouble with Guly is that he's never played all that many games in a season before. Now we're expecting 30/35 games a year from him and he might find that a bit more than he's really up to.
  23. I'll be in my usual minority of 1 but I thought that Puncheon had a pretty good game at Hull.Worked hard, got some tackles in and closed down really well. Can't understand what's going on with him, 1 game in 2 games out usage.A far better player than Chaplow,at least he can stand up and control the ball.
  24. 12th grade is the senior year in high school, ie 17/18/19 yrs old, for the rest work backwards and you should come up with first grade at 5/6 yrs.So the question is did you graduate grade school (primary school) Junior High (don't know what the Uk equivalent of that is) or Sixth Form College.
