  1. Starting our CC Div 2 campaign today at the Aegeas against Gloucs. Got off to a decent start with Gloucs at 89/4 at one time but now they're pushing on at about 131/4 Seem to be a lot of extras already 30 so far, no doubt to be expected in the first real game of the season whilst everybody finds their marks.
  2. Just look up on Accor's website. You can go Formule 1 which is really cheap or Etap'Hotel which is pretty cheap but at least you get your own shower. You're talking about 35 euros a night for l'Etap, makes that about 26£ of your money I think. Edit just read all of the post, if you want cheapish hotels you need to stay out of Switzerland, in fact if you want cheap anything you need to stay out of Switzerland. There is an Etap in Lucerne but it's far more expensive than any other country that the group does. Cheers
  3. Ah I see, I thought the demand for long distance nailing had suddenly increased.
  4. Don't know, someone who fits those criteria,A Krul like keeper, maybe from the Dutch school.
  5. Season before last he scored a lot, last season nowhere near so many and this season perhaps 1 deflected goal but I'm none too sure on that.
  6. Unsurprising he actually gets to play first team football there.Would want the same with us and at the first blunder they'd all be whining for Kelvin.. Would prefer a real signing myself, someone who commands his box, comes out for crosses and doesn't drop shots into the path of onrushing attackers.
  7. Probably like most failed football managers...TV punditing.
  8. Well I certainly hope so because the number of pints of rotting milk on the doorstep of his flat is starting to be a bit of a health hazard.
  9. Asked her to rub ointment on his itchy arse whilst he was engaged in a three way with 2 scrubbers apparently. at least that's what she told me.
  10. but why the f*ck would you want to do that?
  11. Mark Peters
  12. We've just been allocated 2000 more tickets on top of the 1700 odd that we had already. Must be expecting a run on sales then.
  13. A consistent constant see what I did there.
  14. I suppose you could say that on Saturday they still had some sort of realistic chance of avoiding relegation plus it was a derby. The Bristol City result against Coventry probably just put an end to any chance of avoiding relegation and last night's performance probably reflected that.
  15. If either side wins this game they will win the title, sorry Rickie but you're wrong. Reading will win the 3 games afterwards and if they should beat us the title is theirs. If we want to win the Championship, which I assume we do, we need not to lose on Friday and preferably win because Palace,Forest and a play-off preparing Birmingham aren't going to do the job for us.
  16. Still don't think the result matters a great deal, not to us.To West Ham yes, their principal wish must be to see Brighton win and both sides seriously depleted.
  17. Why on earth would they be interested in Baseball, one of the world's most obtuse games.I try to watch it but tbh watching paint dry is more spectacular.Firkers hit about one ball out of every 6 or 7
  18. Ah couldn't say as yet...Tabb and Karacan definitely I think, wait and see for the other 2...I'll have to wait for the Oracle.
  19. Oh yes it's the real gen, knew it this morning..don't ask.
  20. No need to go overboard, a draw and a few(more) walking wounded for Reading will do.
  21. As predicted Reading seriously depleted, all of their regular CMs are out,viz Tabb,Leigertwood,Karacan and Robson Kanu.
  22. your gran's saying is Oscar Wilde's definition of a cynic.
  23. In fact they've not had much luck of late have Reading West Ham,Leeds and Brighton all in close succession, the ultimate triple whammy of dirty championship teams.
