  1. Don't know why exactly we'd sign Pearce, no need of him this season and won't be good enough for next. Perhaps it's a charitable gesture towards Skate and we can knock it off of our company tax.
  2. there was a disc of this in about err 1972, my last year at Taunton's. F*cking drove us crazy...Alchemists dream, turning crap into money...shedloads of it.Must have been right up there at the toppish levels of the pop charts.I'm sure you could get a UTube of it if you dug around.
  3. HTH Steak and Blow Job day.
  4. Very soon, above all their debts to the tax authorites.Over a billion euros just for tax and NI contributions apparently. Might be a few bargains this summer then.
  5. Interesting to see that we seem to be making sides pay for loans from us.
  6. Is that not why they invented hallucinogenic substances??
  7. that would be good then,I,however, expect reading to crap all over them, 4-0 something like that.
  8. they will be moaning about: No width,Passing sideways,Passing backwards, keeping the ball,Guly,Morgan and Sharp not getting a start. Oh and probably not spending the "AOC money" which as we know is long gone.
  9. so either the results are wrong for runner 2255 or Mr Tristan Clarke isn't Bath Saint.
  10. If I was an NFL owner I wouldn't touch Peyton with a barge-pole.Colts are ditching him to take Luck and that says it all for me.
  11. At the end of the day it's Pompey's latest adlministration that will send them down, nothing to do with us whatsoever.
  12. according to the finishing list this gent goes by the name of Tristan Clarke: It's not rocket science.
  13. Pretty simple answer really, W Sharp Esq is not currently one of the 2 best strikers available to SFC.
  14. current score showing just what a good result winning 1-0 at Elland Rd was for us.
  15. Honestly I'd think that West Ham have it all to do now, haven't looked at the odds but we're probably promotion favourites with West Ham and Reading at about the same odds. THese dropped home points are going to cost them,if they can't beat Reading at the end of the month they'll be looking at the play-offs.
  16. Just got back from the coast, chuffed with the result + West Ham only drawing at home again, they just have to beat Reading now or they're play-off candidates. Going to watch the match on video will give my appraisal tomorrow.
  17. depends what Sunderland think of that.
  18. Well if they're looking for a real 3 way get them to PM me up then .
  19. The programme guide on the Canal Satellite decoder says that we're on L'Equipe TV tomorrow afty. Don't know how many of you can access that.I have to go down the South Coast tomorrow so I won't be able to watch but I'll be putting it into the memory so that I can catch up on Sunday. Might be able to tune into the match thread for a bit though. I've an hour free in the afternoon so I might just WiFi in from Montpellier 2 or failing that I'll just go and have a mega bucket at KFC Perols and wifi up from there.
  20. Probably more about saving money. They've brought in a few and have a ginormous squad. Piquionne wasn't getting much game time and Nouble is only a kid who's spent more time out on loan than he has at West Ham.
  21. Because he's too old and no doubt not good enough for the PL any more. Where's he playing these days?
  22. It's not a gift, it's just an assurance from the FL that they will receive their due revenues at the appropriate time.
  23. Who wasn't. Inappropriate behaviour at football in the 70s was not fighting
  24. You sure about Nouble, wasn't aware that he'd played very much at all for West Ham this season. This is Frank Nouble not Mark Noble.
  25. I'd expect a fair few cuts from the present group, far more than most suggest. I'd think only about 14/15 of our current squad will be part of the 25 for next season if we make the PL. Don't think Bart will be of that number.
