  1. Up Saints evidently,West Ham,Bimingham...the remaining 69 football league clubs will get some more PL money that way, might not have as many admins. Down Wolves (so that we can get their keeper) QPR (might be able to get Taraabt) Blackburn..apppointing the tea boy as manager should never pay off.
  2. means control the controlables, Nigelisms are now being transformed into acronyms.
  3. North West deadwood....In fact Blackburn,Wigan,Bolton would be a nigh on clean sweep of NWDW.
  4. Thanks but no thanks, can't afford to flip about now.Squad is just fine as it is,unless of course we have a non-disclosed injury to one of the 3 CBs.
  5. No we don't, ridiculous thing to say. Did he play at Hull..no,did we lose ..no. Chaplow is vastly overated, our blip was more to do with the peturbed central defence than Chaplow's absence.
  6. That's not right is it, if West Ham beat Reading, Reading's maximum is reduced to 73+6x3=91 so we need 13 points to go up counting on our GD.
  7. Just noticed the forum clock has gone off sync.Must have turned it backwards instead of forwards.
  8. Whenever they beat Blackpool 4-1? it's a home midweek game that they haven't won since Queen Victoria was on the throne. There are however far less Tuesday games in the Premier league which is probably half the explanation.
  9. As for me I just think West Ham will win,no superstition involved whatsoever. Posh have no interest to win and they probably won't. Awful side, can't see how they beat Reading who must have been knackered or something on that evening.Having said all that football is an unpredictable game.Which is why we all haven't won the pools by now. Do they still exist..the Pools I mean?
  10. West Ham don't lose much but they don't win very often either. Won't lose against Posh though.
  11. Why does a college need a car park attendant? Can't do your redac in the car park, now a bike shed, that's different.
  12. Now there I'd take the stance that the quicker they cement their play-off place and start gearing up for the play-offs the better it will be for us.With the points spread and saw-toothed results of most sides none of the 2/10th sides will be out of the play-offs much before the last day.
  13. In fact Championship sides with no hope of promotion or no fear of relegation have everything to gain by being beaten by West Ham and only professional pride to lose. Not saying it would be a consideration but if West Ham get promoted they'll get a share of 32 million quid,if Reading or Saints get promoted they'll get an extra diddly squat.
  14. Nah they'll get turned over (I said the same before they played Reading and that worked ) But this time I think West Ham will give them a real drubbing, maybe 4-1 something like that.
  15. Thing is Kelvin has made more cock-ups that have led to goals this season than Bart but Bart's are more noticeable because he's just had 1 first team league game.Who knows perhaps in the Bristol City home game Bart would have kept hold of the shot that Maynard turned in.You can't judge on just one game. Having said that I'm pretty certain that Bart has no future at SMS.
  16. nope,he's got another year on his contract I think.
  17. Perhaps the entire first team group have been given some time off, would explain why Bart isn't there as it would Martin. Maybe they had winding down and debrief on Sunday and have Monday and Tuesday off.
  18. don't know, Seaborne seems to be back to nigh on full fitness now and is a left sided CB.Not that he's as good as Jos but I think the main Martin/José problem was one of 2 right feet rather than out and out quality. Don't rate Martin on the left at all and José doesn't like playing on that side.
  19. Bart is probably busy looking for a new club, don't think he's much future at SMS really.
  20. Strange that, they beat Reading but got dicked at home by Millwall, perhaps they aren't very much at ease with big bustling crap house centre forwards like Millwall have.In that case West Ham will probably roll all over them.
  21. We probably were but then Harry left and we got Burley....the rest is history. If Lowe had sacked Burley when he should have,ie on 21st January 2006 after the most abysmal Saints display I've ever seen, our history would be different.
  22. I don't use Paypal and I get my subscription renewed automatically each time, don't remember how it works but it's card based.
  23. I still expect West Ham to win the next 2 games and become our principal rival for the title again. By the by anyone know if their future parachute payments would be distributed amongst the other NPC clubs in the event of them being promoted this time round? It used to be that way but perhaps it's been changed since the amount ballooned. 32 million split 24 ways wouldn't be so bad for mid table teams now would it !!
  24. At least twice that, probably more...they only go up until 30th June 2011
  25. Why was an 8 year old defending his dad from the police though?
