  1. weren't those after or during the game though? I mean if he's reading Twitter when he's supposed to be playing well I can see why he missed a reasonable chance.
  2. looks about right,I'd hope for Richardson's return though.
  3. not our owners though. They don't make bulldozers, cranes or fridges. It's my turn to be MLG today.
  4. Pompey's results will not be expunged as a result of any possible scenario, if they aren't in the play-offs then they can't default by not playing.Doubt if even MLG would suggest that scenario.
  5. Excuse my ignorance but what would that be then?
  6. Irrelevant, they won't be allowed to default on their fixtures, the Football League will see to that. They might go under immediately after the last game though.
  7. but quite a distant third, probably wants to get Frank Clark who's no doubt a better manager than Megson.
  8. In many modern football systems one of the CBs is denominated as the "relancer" and one as an out and out stopper. In our formation I guess José is the relancer and Jos is the stopper and tidier upper. Probably why we're so much better with that pairing because Martin probably isn't as good at starting attacks as José and then there's the left/right factor.
  9. cardiff....no brainer. We need West Ham to be really, really in need of points when they play Birmingham and Reading.
  10. Surprsingly enough Reading are the penalty miss kings of the NPC, think they've scored about 1 out of 5. http://www.statbunker.com/football/btb/index.php?PL=competition&CompID=370&statType=teampen
  11. Well 1/10 isn't bad.
  12. Mills isn't exactly queueing up for his pension either, must be about 25/26.Had a pretty decent season with Reading and still has plenty of time on his side, too early to write him off really.
  13. which would be an excellent result.
  14. Closure...what a horrible Yank word that is, in my day it meant a fence or a fenced off area in the Forest.
  15. Young player having difficulty handling a big money move, now where have I heard that before.Probably just Leicester trying to offload a bit of Sven's crazy transfer dealing.Mills was never worth whatever it was they paid and he's probably not worth what they pay him, then again perhaps he just doesn't get on with Pearson.
  16. So anyway, looked at the all angles, Chung does seem to put himself about a bit, puts in a handy midfield tackle or two as well.Holds the ball up and makes a bit of a nuisance of himself where you don't usually expect to find strikers.Penalty looks pretty authentic as well, don't think you're allowed to just barge a player over when he hasn't got the ball.
  17. Although if you wanted to start putting about on MHSC forums that we're going to take Giroud and Belhanda off of them when we get promoted to the PL at the end of the season I guess that would be OK.Lulu never refuses a deal when there's a couple of euros in it for him.
  18. probably just a student in 'meejah studies" or something like that. Grammar needs polishing up a bit though.Changes from the first person to the 3rd person when referring to himself in the same paragraph to mention but one error. To cap it all looks like he may be a Spurs follower.
  19. And ours isn't ? Football supporters are not usually bashful about trumpeting the,oft imaginary, merits of their own teams and the shortcomings of rival teams.
  20. not really, it's free money, who cares about a name anyway. I used to go to the County Ground,Dean Park and the Utd Service Ground to watch Hampshire, never made an iota of difference to anyone what the ground was called. If someone gives you any money at all for it then you're quids in because it costs nothing and means nothing.
  21. well if you look at the photos of the subscribers you kind of get the impression that it might be an African or Asian site so English may not be the writer's primary language. There were Lambert to West Ham stories doing the rounds during the transfer window, probably just a carry on of one of those. West Ham may have bid for Lambert in January, I don't doubt we turned down several bids for our players and had others turned down ourselves.
  22. this sort of comment is becoming rather tiresome. Morgan is the most physical of all of our CMs,the fastest and no doubt the dirtiest in times of dire need as well. He's become a midfield enforcer who can pass the ball or take it forward of late.
  23. Let's face it we're on Sky the week after so it's unlikely 2 weeks in a row.Plus they only get so many NPC games in a season.
  24. To be honest I don't think it's really anything to do with West Ham. Looks like a bit of an overseas "fans" site.
