  1. not surprising looking at the shots and foul stats on the BBC site. The 4-1 win at Blackpool might have knackered the Hammers a bit but I expect they'll win anyway.
  2. but they're not and then West Ham will probably grind them down in the last 25/30 minutes or even get an iffy penalty or two, same as they did at Millwall.
  3. At the end of the day his methods get results. West Ham have won the most matches in the Championship this season. As their objective is an immediate return to the PL then I guess the manner doesn't count overmuch.
  4. Doble was called into the full Wales squad once I think, didn't play though.
  5. so that would be no,no and highly likely then.
  6. Walcott is already in the England squad.
  7. Yep, we've warned him but I expect he'll just do it anyway, buoyed up by all the "been doing it for years posts" who probably don't even own a house or flat anyway.
  8. if you're going to do it make sure you get the right BTL insurance (this is probably what the extra 90£ is for) If you don't tell them you're guilty of fraud you know.
  9. I really,really doubt that.
  10. Well you could but they'll be pretty ****ed off if anything happens to your flat and they can't claim from the insurance. You'd be in serious sh*t if they find out anyway and they probably will.
  11. that must be Kitson surely. The thing is no matter how much a player is on, a fair whack of it is witheld as PAYE income tax,for a player on 30K a week the PAYE would be about what 12K a week, so Pompey pay the player his 120 K a month less the HMRC cut which would be about 50K a month I guess. As they don't actually seem to pay the taxman very often then 30K a week is a nonsensical figure because it only actually costs them about 17K a week.
  12. Do the RN actually have share holders?
  13. but that's not what the thread title says is it? I presume that it's just the old problem of an appaling command of one's native language again.
  14. Who have Birmingham loaned to Pompey then?
  15. Justly, we need to stop being typical Saints and start being regular winners.
  16. well there aren't many possible games really. I guess Barnsley and Ipswich are too soon for them, Reading will be a near sell out anyway.Coventry will sell out cos it's the last game of the season which leaves Doncaster .
  17. Can't have England players being sent off and suspended now can we. Don't understand why it was only 1 match either...straight red=3.
  18. Noticed yesterday that Whyte bought Rangers with money he borrowed against Ranger's next 3 years ticket sales.
  19. probably won't make much difference, expect their back up is pretty handy as well.Pretty solid defence of late (except at Ipswich but on that occasion they weren't down to 10 men so probably got a bit confused as to who was supposed to do what)
  20. Anyway knowing things like that comes from the Civil Service rather that their political masters.
  21. It was the same on this forum though when Rupert was telling us we need to cut costs or we will not survive.
  22. Truth seems to be that if you're not playing for Man U,Man C,Arsenal,Spurs or Chelsea your chances of an England call up are pretty slim.Once you get into those clubs you'll probably get selected even if you've played very few games.Players who want an international career know that they've a better chance of getting one in Citeh reserves than at Blackburn or Fulham.
  23. exactly, if we can't get 3 points away at Watford then I don't know how we're going to get them. We will need to win 3 maybe 4 of our remaining away games and you have to target Watford,Palace,Millwall and Peterborough as the most likely places to do it. If you can't win the first of them then the opportunity window gets narrower and narrower. This game is MUST WIN and I'm sure Nigel will say so in his pre-match interview.
  24. Don't think that labour is particulary cheap in South Korea, not for skilled workers.Work ethic may be of a bit better quality though but there have been recent changes in the maximum work week.
  25. Perhaps they're looking to offset that with some other "Made in Britain" contracts from the Koreans.
