Depends, could be just bruising and sinovial fluid.Could be cartilage damage though, they can clear that up pretty quickly.

Hammond seems to have somewhere between 8 and 9 bookings. If you count back to his one match suspension he's had 3 since then but the question seems to be whether he was booked last night or not. I guess you've got to trust our OS on that rather than the BBC and say it was Lallana. So Deano has 8 bookings so far. The OS has always been wrong because of a booking in the JPT game. When he was suspended the OS stats still had him on 4. Since his suspension on 23rd October Deano seems to have been booked against Brentford,Exeter and Hartlepool. If he wasn't booked last night he's on 8 if he was he's on 9 and one more will see him cop a 2 match suspension. Chappers is getting a card every other game these days and will only just make it to the amnesty if he doesn't calm it a bit.

I'm not sure that finishing in the top 6 is the objective though.I just don't fancy facing Huddersfield,Peterborough or even Bournemouth in a one off match for promotion. We'll probably be without Morgan,we have no back-up for Davis and a player like CMS is always odds on to tear us apart. We should have signed that young man, that we didn't tells me that we didn't have the money to bring the deal about.

On the look out for one are we? might be a better investment than TSW on match days.

Quite right too, why pay when you can freeload on a system funded by others. Europe's disease which now seems to spreading to the whole of the planet.

Why don't we use Connolly any more, last night might have been ideal suited to his clinical finishing when N'Guessan has to go off. Dickson also might have been able to do something more than an injured Ox. -

NC said Ox wouldn't be sold,NA said Ox wouldn't be leaving, perhaps the offers weren't all that great. We have no idea what was offered, press speculation is worth nothing; -
Oxlade-Chamberlain - injured but on the bench?

but we have back up players. Is that not why we have a development squad? I mean they're 19/20 year olds not schoolboys. That we have not many reserve games for them to develop in is the problem, not signing more players. In fact I sometimes ask myself what exactly we pay Les Reed to do. -
BBC has it down to Hammond though and the Brummie commentators said it was Hammond booked as well. We'll have to see though because in the disciplinary stats Hammond is on 9 as if it was he who'd been booked last night.
-
Derry will be pleased, unfortunately our defence would become inordinately weak. No doubt that if Deano should cop a 2 matcher then Dickson will be pressed into service in midfield again. One thing that I wouldn't care to see is Lallana or Ox playing CM with Chaplow in the holding role, wouldn't be pretty at all.

48 from 25 games isn't exactly 2 points per game and Brighton's haul is better than ours because they really have 62 points from 31 games.

What do you expect we have no reserves to speak of.We have the first team group and the kids plus a few players hanging about in limbo who will never make the first team. In fact the whole "development" set-up might be described as an utter shambles. I think Garrod,Tazafoli,Doble and Dean are out on loan, that leaves Argent,Reeves and McNish from that group I think. -
Lallana didn't get booked,it was Chaplow and Hammond, their 6th and 9th of the season respectively.Amazed that no-one has picked up on the fact that Hammond is now just 1 yellow away from a 2 matcher with about 7 or 8 games to go before the next amnesty.
-
Not to start on the stats lark again but it would seem to me that we've lost 2 of the last 8,drawn 3 and won 3. 12 points from 8 matches will not get us automatic promotion.
-
Well we should have a big list of potential candidates. Did NC not say that 3/4 (or something like that) of then current championship managers had applied for the job, plus one or two from the Premier League and a couple from abroad.? Cannot believe that really because I think that at the time we worked out that either Davis,Clough,Lambert or Dave Jones had been turned down.

The problem is Simster that not everyone pays,I have no idea as to the ratio of Full Members to Registered Users but on away match days the forum should be Members only from 19hr 30 until 22hrs.

Perhaps we lost the midfield battle because Morgan was injured after a minute and 45 seconds and we had to replace him with a player who's not a right sided CM. Anyway when we have just the suddenly out of form Chaplow and Hammond in CM we're going to hoof.Plus no Guly either, Barney may be a fair old finisher on his day (which obviously wasn't yesterday) but he's never going to create like Guly can. -

Although I thought one of the comments by the Brummie, who incidentally sounded just like the one from Auf Wierdesein Pet,extremely pertinent. He said that Barnard would be more useful if he concentrated on his own game and stopped moaning at the ref and officials. Anyway not a great night, Morgan injured,**** result, the spectre of Forecast hanging over us, Chaplow and Hammond racking up the cards like there's no tomorrow(Hammond is now on 9) ..nope nothing on the plus side there. -
What can you say?? Groundhog day. Our first goal the primrose path of dalliance treads and the other firkers score on the break.
-
and another
-
But they've got better lately.I expect on current home form ....6 matches say...they're not the worst.
-
Lallana dallying on the ball. The Paths of Dalliance, that was a favourite in the Library when I was at Uni, really dog-eared within a couple of weeks.
-
In theory yes, in practice only maybe. We'll need to beat Bournemouth in 10 days time.Peterborough would be too close for comfort with only a game more played as well. We've got a few games coming up that I really don't fancy if we can't score against Walsall.
-
Come on Nigel shake the bag.
-
Especially as he was playing in a new role and had a shot saved after only a minute.
