  1. With just 27 games left including Charlton at home and away, Brighton away, Plymouth away and Oldham twice as well what you have to realise is that we can only afford to lose another 3 matches this season because we need at least 19 more wins. To Play 27, W19,L3 D5 Is probably about the minimum requirement. Even being generous (with reason) and leaving MK Dons out NA's record to date just doesn't suggest that will happen as we've about 15 away games to play.
  2. Although he said he didn't, strange that then.
  3. who'd be stupid enough to say that then.AOC looks reasonable because he sometimes plays against awful defences. The 2 goals he scored against Dagenham were gift wrapped by their Sunday League keeper. He may have pace but in the savvy department I'm not so sure. We should not,I repeat not, have let Puncheon go just because AOC had a couple of decent looking performances against woefully poor sides, it was a crass mistake of the premier order.NA should have told Millwall to shove it and not even speak to Punch about it.Because Holmes is just a glass ornament, anyone who looks at his injury record could tell that.
  4. If you look at NA's record with us it shows that the results to date during his tenure (without counting MK Dons) would not be good enough to obtain automatic promotion. P13 W7 L3 D3 24 points extrapolated over the whole season that would be 84/85 points which probably won't get us automatic. In fact we now need another 60 points from 27 games including a majority away.I don't think we'll do that because nothing than NA has shown us so far leads me to believe that we can beat the better sides in the league like Charlton and Oldham. Oh without a doubt we'll go to Walsall and win 4-0 and euphoria will reign here again but we aren't doing it when it counts on a constant basis no matter what team we put out and that my friends is down solely to the manager and the coaches.
  5. Even if he played with a truss and a wooden leg he'd be more effective than Lambert. He's been struggling for quite a while but as we have no options and RLGM is a damp squib this season we've carried on playing him anyway. What is the point of all this talent that we're supposed to have in the development group if it's so ferkin brilliant that even injured senior players are preferable. I am as yet unconvinced that Adkins really knows what he's doing,I think he's pushing the players too hard and they're ****ged out when it matters. The less we play the worse we get, the more we play (ie less "training") the better we are.
  6. I wish we still had Nile Ranger, I'd like to see yer Brentford's and Carlisles faced with that sort of percussion. They'd give Lambert acres of space then.
  7. Many people could have done the job, what about the bloke from Brentford or that chap at Swindon or Poyet. Trouble is we didn't appoint them. I really do tax NC with this, he could have done a bit of spade work and then sacked AP when we had a viable alternative because Wilkins for 3 or 4 games just wasn't an option.
  8. Newcastle seem to be 1 up, still it's only Liverpool, if Hodgson can get a top job why not AP
  9. I fully expect NC will bawl someone out this week.
  10. Last season, awful as our start was,we had only actually lost 4 games after 19, I think this was our 7th loss this season so far, which just isn't acceptable. In fact we now have obtained 1 less point than last season at the same stage.WE need to sort out the striking problem straight away, I am sure that AP would have sorted it in the transfer window.
  11. No, must have forgotten his script.
  12. on now trained well for 10 days, couldn't score, unacceptable, their keeper made some great saves, blah blah di blah.
  13. correct, that's poor then, especially as we now need somewhere around 2.2 points per game for automatic promotion.
  14. as few as that? did I miss a game somewhere?
  15. You could be right, I am not certain that his jovial crap spouted every week about hard working honest players and talent pathways are any more than just pointless soundbites. His sides do not seem to be able to beat good sides. His persistence with AOC who is far far from the finished product at the expense of Puncheon is questionable,we have too many injuries and the continued selection of Lambert just leaves me confused beyond reason.
  16. 50p. And there he'd be doing us a favour. Lambert in his current form is worth absolutely f..all.
  17. But it was always possible, we cannot score against well organised sides, it doesn't matter how well we do against Dagenham and Tranmere and crap of that ilk, these are the games that count. WE have no effective striker,it's been a problem all season and it hasn't been correctly addressed. Might I add that we need to turn out at Walsall wearing the correct kit....the red and white stripes that have always been good enough for us in the past. We need to ditch the sash and let players remember exactly who they're playing for in the shirt that has been good enough for players far better than they'll ever be.
  18. We probably lost this game the moment that the H'Pool game was called off, left us Fonteless for a game against a side who are on a roll. Let me be the first to say this...I want to hear no more, absolutely no more bullshît from Adkins.I want Lambert dropped and someone else to take his place.
  19. Ferk it, all over, We need to sort our act out at every level, injury treatment, manager, tactics, player motivation everything.
  20. Supporting Saints is like smoking or being a drug addict, you know it's going to be bad for you but you just can't stop.
  21. I think we need a bucket collection at the next 2 or 3 home games to pay for a competent striker.
  22. we shouldn't even be concerned with crap like Carlisle. If Charlton do their stuff we could be 8 or 9 points off of the top 2 places. Automatic promotion will be all over.
  23. Maybe Nige fancies a 5 and a half year contract at some "big club"
