not a great percentage really, probably down to the raised standard of keepers I guess. However if we applied that percentage to the 4 penalties that we've had so far and attribute them to the other goalscorers in the team then RL stats would look frankly shameful comparitively wouldn't they???
-
look quite expensive to me, I always go to the Charlton away, will again but I don't remember it being £25 before (probably was though).
-
As you wish, i personally have never missed a penalty, taken about 30 I suppose;not the same standard of keeper obviously but then I wasn't of the same standard as any of the above. Can't remember who said it but some famous footballer said a professional footballer should never miss a penalty. I firmly believe that we have at least 5 or 6 others in our squad who could net every penalty we get.
-
probably why AO got sacked then
-
you can't count penalties for one and not the others, Lambert has scored once from over 1000 minutes of presence on the field, anyone could sink the penalties, true he got one from a free kick but the deflection it took gave the keeper no chance, of course he might have planned it that way because he has magic powers...2 then. Furthermore no matter how dump RL is he won't be dropped so we don't need a replacement penalty taker.Maybe after if he's subbed from time to time but we probably won't get many penalties after 80 minutes anyway. We have to keep him in the side and managers will spout any bullsh*t to justify it.

Trouble is WE on last week's performance we can't defend either. Fully expect us to concede one from a corner.....why you ask? because we often do.
-
well we'll need to score a few then cos Jaidi will(probably) have a very bad day at the back,sh*t side, hope it works out well for us cos we need the win.
-
My prediction for the side KD, Richardson,Fonte,Jaidi,Dickson,Hammond,Chaplow,Lallana,AOC,Guly,Lambert. based on basic bib technology.
-
nope, he was only on loan at S****horpe, from Leeds, came from a non-league club to Leeds.

6 posts in 18 months, then 2 posts in 2 days, watch it Bart, you'll become a forum junky and have to pay £5 to get your fix every day..:scared:

Could be any team although some might tell you it's Dagenham .
-
Just been watching the NA build up interview, absolutely nothing given away,no bibs, no nothing (well Harding has one on,but it could be a dunce's cap as we know he won't start on Saturday) Looks like Forecast was training with the 1st team as well.So if LB has been gagged, guess we'll have to wait until about 2pm on Saturday to know the team.
-
Anyway to sum it all up,he got dropped, didn't like it and wanted to move on...standard football practice nowadays.

Is Adkins living up to your expectations?
Window Cleaner replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
He said he'd inherited the best squad in the division, seems to have been deceived a bit then. Then again one of the first things he did was to ship out one of the only players he'd worked with to a higher league club, not sure where we are with Fish Mills now though. Anyway, I had no different expectations when Adkins came in than I did pre-season....90 points and automatic promotion. We may still get the latter but the former is a bit of a forlorn hope now. -
only on loan though, may or may not be back
-
Echo says NA is considering dropping him, bet he doesn't though. If I had a fiver for every time AP said "Rickie needs a rest so we'll have to see what we can do" and then did nothing, I'd be rich.

Or stupid football shirts over massive beer guts, if they wore proper clothes they wouldn't look so feckin fat.
-
Wilshere was in the squad, pulled out with an "injury", Wengs probably didn't want him playing against his team mates,

As in who sucks donkey dong, a well known taunt in American High School Football (not soccer).

I went to work on that day, in Dorset as well funnily enough, got a day off a bit later when there was something else worth watching happening...in this case Glamorgan vs Hants at Cardiff (or Swansea had a lot of beer that day,few neurones must have been killed off) nice innings from Jesters saw us to victory.
-
Huddlestone, Wilshere, Carrick..All injured aren't they??? one of the perennial problems of English football, players who are always injured
-
Chaplow - signed a 2 and a half year deal - OFFICIAL

Doubt that he's accepted lower wages really.Footballers don't do that any more.Would be an agent's nightmare if he has. -
The entirely speculative 'replacements for Puncheon' thread

Kenny Jackett usually gets the best out of most players because really with the team they had last season they shouldn't have been above us -10 or no -10.
